I still want to put forward my earlier suggestions.

SLOT X: THE TEAM'S DYNAMIC DUO

Slot for a two-character-duo

Base Line Examples:

-Panty and Stocking

-Batman and Robin

-The Wonder Twins

-Han Solo and Chewbacca

Slot scenario idea: Get Luke and Obi-Wan to Alderaan safely.

 

SLOT X: THE TEAM'S FEMME FATALE

Dangerous seductive woman. Street level or slightly above.

Base Line Examples:

-Mileena

-Catwoman

-Shego

-Elektra

Slot scenario idea: Seduce and Kill James Bond

Though this might be stretching it a bit, I think this could be neat. Based off RPG/MMO style combat roles:

The Tank(somebody built to soak up damage) 

Some potential examples(albeit different ways to go about it):

- The Juggernaut

- Unus the Untouchable

- Wolverine, X-23, Deadpool, Sabretooth, anybody with healing factors

- Hazel Rainart

The DPS(somebody built to deal out a lot of damage quickly, but is pretty squishy aka a glass cannon)

Some potential examples:

- DC speed force users

- Quicksilver

- Oda Nobunaga from Fate

- General Grievous

- Obi-Wan Kenobi

- War Machine

The Healer(the support guy, works to keep everyone healed up or otherwise buff them up with other effects)

Some potential examples:

- Elixir

- Bastila Shan

- Dende

- Jaune Arc

- Wendy Marvell

We strongly discourage adding a contender to the database which is a Duo.  E.g. "Batman and Robin".  Hopefully the character admins will deny any such addition to the database.

Also, I'm not going to try writing Umpire's code to handle creating 2 vs. 2 matches. 

Also, 2 vs. 2 matches do not appear in a character's match history.

So, sorry, probably never happening.  Thanks!

The Master Manipulator:

A behind the scenes character, devising devious plots or guiding heroes. NO SUPERPOWERS. A character with powers cannot use them.

Examples:

Lex Luthor
Oracle
Ozymandias

No direct combat scenarios in this slot, though remotely commanding a force of soldiers could be a possible challenge.

I just meant contenders that were already in the database as a duo. But I see your point.

I could see where this slot works with characters who are specifically a duo. So the likes of Batman and Robin would be out, but the Wonder Twins would be ok.
However that does get muddled pretty easily. Probably safest to not do it, or else some jerk might post 20 times in a row complaining about characters they deem unfair. (Though I have no idea what nerd would have that much time on their hands and be petty enough to do that.)

Team Medic: Doctor/healer types with some medical challenges thrown their way

Examples

Bones McCoy 

Mercy

Doctor Gregory House 

Team Pilot Feats of aviation prowess, could be dogfights or aerial maneuvering challenges.

What character can capture Riddick, who can take out Batman, capture a T-Rex alive, break into Cobra Headquarters to capture or take out Cobra Commander.

Now is probably not the best time to post here, but an idea just came to me: in a future Draft, why not introduce a slot that locations as profiles can compete in (Death Star, Wonderland, the Overlook Motel, etc.)? Of course, rules would have to set as to what types of locations could compete, but it's an idea.
