  1. I feel you on the lack of commentary too, it is difficult. On my end, I've been slammed with work and school, but was able to squeeze just enough time to get a good read in finally. Lol. That being said, I do apologize that it took me some time to get around to doing so, as this was certainly a treat to read for me. Again, it was intense, and it was pretty well written, as I can see that you're incorporating much of the thematic material that TMNT has beneath the surface to great effect in your writing. I hope you don't get discouraged from proceeding in your writing endeavors, whether it be for this arc or other matches in the future, as you have a great talent, and a passion for your work, that you should definitely continue to pursue in spite of the difficulties. Comments and interaction are very nice things, but there is a level of fulfillment in producing a work that really is more internally beneficial in my opinion anyway. Honestly, just stick to your guns, and don't let circumstances prevent you from doing things that you enjoy and fill achievement in doing.
  2. Intense fight, you can feel Leo's struggle as he is facing off with Geese on the roof here. The impacts of each hit are pretty incredible to be honest, and I even felt at points that Leo would be done for, but you wrote it in such a way that even when things looked bleak for Leo, he still found a way to win. The bonds of his relationship with his brothers are key, and even as he learned from his mistakes, I think the real fight you wrote, was one in which Geese tested all of them to see how strong they all were together, while only fighting Leonardo, great job man! Ken will be a very difficult opponent to face off against, and I have no doubt that Raphael will struggle quite a bit to win against such a foe. Ken is fast, he is strong, and he is very powerful with his energy attacks, second only to Ryu himself in terms of a similar type of playing field. What he is also, however is more controlled than the likes of Akuma, and in that I think Raphael will have a decent advantage. It will take some time, and I don't think that Raph will get out of this one without sustaining some major damage, but if he can find a way to coordinate his evasion techniques and capitalize on the openings that Ken creates when using said techniques, I believe that Raphael can prevail here.

  4. While Broly does a lot of raw power to wield against Gohan, Gohan is at this point, the better trained fighter. Having trained under Piccolo, Krillin, Goku, Old Kai, and others, Gohan certainly developed fighting skills but tends to lack in fighting experience due to his procrastination and lack of focus. That being said, he should still stand a chance here, as his Beast power up should even the playing field, and should potentially give him the advantage of Broly here.
  5. Congrats guys. Must be a dead time of year for the most part too. Movies certainly are atm.
  6. Nahuaquez is actually, pretty powerful, he's an Aztec dream deity capable of physically overpowering Freddy Krueger.
  7. Bigger targets perhaps, but not as easily dispatched ones either for a few different reasons. Among them, their biological organs are spread throughout their bodies and come in sets of more than one, making it harder to shoot them through the heart. Additionally, while they walk fairly slowly, they are able to curl up into a ball, and roll past on foot opponents, going 50 Kilometers per hour across flat terrain, not an easy factor to weigh against. Finally, they have a poisonous slime that secrets from their skin, one that will force most individuals to avoid going hand to hand with them out of fear of being infected, another decent point in their favor.
  8. Depends really, among Indian viewers Samri should be fairly popular enough, as many at the time tend to view Purana Mandir and Samri, himself, as iconic to them as The Exorcist is to us here in the States. For Westerners, this wouldn't really apply, however, Samri does have another look, one more wrought to decay than most would expect, but a fairly impressive one for general Horror audiences. Would it beat out the Grinch's look? Hard to say, but for my money anyone that can mimic the facial features of Samri's actor, Anirudh Agarwal, would get a lot of points from me in terms of effort and ability.
  9. SHODAN is a tad more creative, but I would think Helios could write a pretty good match himself, as he is well versed in literature and is connected to the Internet's resources himself. Will that match be better than SHODAN's will depend on who is reading it, but the AI is philosophical in his speech so, it is possible he could "write" something pretty creative as a result.
  10. Honestly, I still like RBM's chances over Mr. Clean's here. I think that while Mr. Clean could make Silent Hill look cleaner, and potentially remove and or cover up the grime of the town, it would be in many ways superficial such as what happened with Camp Crystal Lake becoming Forest Green in Friday the 13th. I don't see him being able to rid the town of its problems or eliminate all of the monsters, so in essence Clean would only be laying a tarp over it all, like the Forest Green people did, and hoping for the best. RBM, while in the same boat, is still arguably more helpful in my opinion, as the guy could potentially bring supplies needed to live in Silent Hill, if he were to switch to bringing other types of needed supplies. He does also seem to know Santa Claus for some reason too, so maybe he can call in a few favors, heh.
  11. Donnie put in some good work here, and while Skullomania did surprise him at certain points, it is good to see him find a way to come out on top in spite of his interpreted shortcomings. The guy really is more than just an egg-head, even if many versions of the TMNT portray him that way. Throwing the staff too, was a good touch, and not one I considered him doing, but is a very smart one tactically, especially given the nature of the circumstances he was fighting against. Reminds me of Goku taking out Recoome, in that Donnie realized the potential danger he was in and proceeded to take out the threat quickly before it got any worse. Staff to staff, this is going to be a hard match for Donnie, in spite of his own staff's upgrades. In close quarters too, he won't really given any particular advantages here, and the city rooftop will even add to his potential problems, as he can't stray too far, or else he risks falling off the roof. The fight here will have to depend on whether or not he can pin Billy Kane at that range, purely based on skill and movement as opposed to anything else. In my opinion the best strategy here, is to try his best to force Billy to move around a lot more, relinquishing his defensive posture from the front and back, as Donnie concentrates on wherever the staff isn't at the time, and pounds it in with swift and powerful offensive strikes.
  12. I'm wondering now, if a lot of the guys became demoralized by wherever they are in the ranks. By this point, that seems to be the case.
  13. To play Devil's advocate, Mr. Clean was based on a Navy Sailor, and while we don't know to any extent what rank or training said sailor had, I would believe that in one sense, a Navy sailor would be more organized and trained than the Kool Aid Man in terms of disaster recovery and the like. That being said, both would have to overcome their impulses in order to win this challenge at all.
  14. Okay, so Wintergreen is a Wolverine like type of character, but that doesn't mean he can't spread joy either. The man is connected to Elfa Squad, and has the capability through that to get from the North Pole to the Kids Next Door Treehouse relatively quickly, even transporting the Treehouse to New York somehow with seemingly little effort, interesting aspects to consider in terms of the range he could have in spreading his influence. Charismatically, Wintergreen is kind of a brick for personality, but he has access to Santa's supplies, and has been around him, his workshop, and the other elves long enough, that I think some of their pleasantness could have rubbed off on him indirectly enough, that he could utilize that in a way to actually spread joy in his travels. The Crypt Keeper will be a challenging source of competition, but with access to the things Wintergreen has available, I can see him scraping up slightly more influence than the Crypt Keeper could simply based on how effectively he can get from point A to point B.
  15. Poor Fezziwig, Samri is a true psychopath, unlike Scrooge whose heart has simply grown cold over the years. All Samri cares about is absorbing people's lifeforce to gain more power, terrorizing the locals of Bijapur, and getting revenge on the Raja's family for beheading him. None of which Fezziwig could really change, as throwing a good party or two won't change a man who devours souls for fun, from devouring said souls for fun.
