  1. Good set-up and match-up of white-haired Amazo -- Gah, @Mercenaryblade said it first. 😅 😛 Anyways, good set-up, Johnny. It feels like Glory's apparently-superior strength may give her the edge in this one, though.
  2. Ugh, I'm falling behind on these arcs lately. Good entry to your Unforeseen Simulation Joint arc and good matchup, Venom, if a little short. From what I remember about the characters involved here, you have them pretty much in-character for the most part. As for the match, I'd have to agree with Gemini on this one. Buzz-Off is overall more powerful and definitely more competent than perennial butt-monkey Waspinator. As always, though, Waspinator will survive.
  3. Not a bad test of the Database's new rando feature. I'd say Gamora has a good chance of getting far in Warworld and maybe even escaping. She'd might be in trouble if she had to face Mongul himself, though.
  4. When I was putting this Rumble together, I realized just how little pirate/swashbuckling stuff I've actually watched so far. I've pretty much only seen 1951's Moby Dick and stuff with the characters in this Rumble, so it was kinda tough for me to think of good opponents for Ren and Co. Oh, I'm not done added Pirates of Dark Water images yet. I still might add images from the SNES and Genesis games. I've been having trouble finding a good alt profile pic for Tula in her second, shoulderless outfit, though, And no, this one ain't Tula,
  5. Since I recently finished watching The Pirates of Dark Water, I figured I'd make a matchup for its heroes that might be right up their alley. This isn't really a 3-3; there's no option for 4-3 or 3-2. It's effectively the crew of the Wraith (Ren, Tula, Ioz, and Niddler) against Captain Hook, the crew of the Jolly Roger, and Monstro the Whale (who Hook is controlling with one of the Thirteen Treasures, the Horn of the Sea). Ren and Co. have to somehow snag the Horn of the Sea from Hook and crew before Monstro wrecks/swallows the Wraith whole, or worse.
  6. The crew of the Wraith is on the lookout for another of the Thirteen Treasures when Ren's compass leads them toward a strange, dark portal. Ioz is weary of the portal, and the monkey bird Niddler trembles at the sight of it, but Ren insists that they must venture forward and find the hidden treasure for the sake of Mer. The Wraith then sails forward toward and through the mysterious portal. The ship then reemerges to a sea that none of its crew has ever seen before, with an island within sight. Tula, who is perched in the Wraith's crow's nest, senses a strange magic emitting from the island, then spots another pirate ship anchored just off the island's shores. Ren's compass then goes off, with a familiar ray of light shooting straight toward the other ship. A reluctant Niddler is sent to investigate the ship. The ship that the crew of the Wraith spots is none other than the Jolly Roger at anchor outside Neverland, led by Captain Hook himself. He is standing on the Jolly Roger's deck, holding a magical gem in his remaining hand and admiring it. Hook is still basking in the aftermath of finally conquering and slaying the crocodile that has tormented him over the years, the beast's massive corpse strung up on the ships main mast thanks to the gem Hook is holding controlling the beast and commanding it in for the kill. A member of the crew alerts Hook of an another, smaller red ship not far off, as well as a strange flying beast with wings of parrot-like coloring gliding their way. Captain Hook, confident of the power his new gem and annoyed of the possibility of a rival pirate crew coming on to his turf, uses the trinket to summon another massive beast of the waters. Just as Niddler gets close to the Jolly Roger and spots the hook-handed captain holding a gem, he looks back and spots a huge dark whale breaching the ocean surface and headed straight for the Wraith, Niddler quickly turns around and soars back to the Wraith to warn his friends and tell them of the other captain's jewel.
  7. Huh, Match #22500 exactly. Good set-up and thematically good matchup, Johnny. This makes a few of your arcs I need to catch up on. As for the match, this Shadowhawk kinda looks like an even darker version of Azrael from DC. He seems to have similar equipment, too. As mentioned, though, it may not be enough to go up against Midnighter's speed, power, and battle computer.
  8. What's this? Wow, looks like I lucked up on winning this thing, again. Thank you to @IKA for putting the Draft together, as well as everyone that Drafted teams and participated in the debating. Honestly, though, as I've mentioned, this wasn't necessarily one of my stronger-Drafted teams, IMO. I wasn't familiar with a few of my picks (Rimuru Tempest, looking at you), and I really had to do some extra research to debate for them. I felt a bit more beatable this time around. Thanks, Johnny. You came up with some good Draft picks and debating points, too. It's possible that UMPIRE went a bit more in my favor this time around. The next Draft may likely be anyone's game, so here's to hoping more people compete and, especially, debate for their teams next time. See y'all next Draft!
  9. Heh, come on, y'all. There was never even an argument put up for Matlock, and Ben certainly never tried cases at every level like Keating had. 😅
  10. I don't know: Wakko shows some pretty good resilience himself:
  11. Pretty good chapter to your Unforeseen Simulation Joint arc, Venom, if a little short. Definitely an interesting matchup, and it's funny that both April and Waspinator have survived this long. As for the match, April just might have a shot at this if she's as combat ready as she is in Shredder's Revenge. She won't actually be able to damage Waspinator with H2H, but shine she's already knocked his blaster away, she has a good chance of grabbing it and blasting the Predacon with it. He'd be blown to pieces, but he'd still survive.
  12. New profiles added: Maximus (Fallout) One of the lead characters in the Amazon Prime series Fallout is now in the Database. He had some growing pains in Season 1, but he also had his moments. Susan Vance The leading lady of Bringing Up Baby is also in. I just watched the movie for the first time last week, and I also discovered that Katharine Hepburn was definitely a force in Hollywood back in the day. Vance was just a force in the movie and is no doubt one of the greatest comedic characters ever. New images added: Lucy MacLean Maximus (Fallout) The Ghoul (Howard Cooper) For whatever reason, there are Vault Boy-type images of these characters out there, so I decided to add them. All this reminds me that I gotta start watching Season 2 of Fallout soon. 😅
  13. Good premise of these '80's movie bullies, undertakersymbiote, but it's a little short. As for the match, not only is Biff past his physical prime here, but unlike the Cobra Kai kids, he doesn't have any real combat training, and he just pissed off the entire dojo. I'd say Tannen gets a beatdown from not only Johnny, but the full might of the top Cobra kai students.
  14. Hmmm ... I might give this a swing.
  15. Ah, my bad about not getting to this one on time, undertakersymbiote. I've been so caught up on RL stuffs and the Draft that I've been slacking a bit on the matches. I'd say that Bowser would've won this tiff, and it also would've resulted in Mario and Donkey Kong regrouping and driving both villains away. Also, I'm hoping we won't see an ungraded match again any time soon ...
  16. Just to show that Ultimate Cap can handle the press and public sentiment, here's a reminder that he was elected President of the U.S. (and as a write-in candidate, no less) and preceded to reunite a war-torn U.S.:
