As the old dwarf escorted the group through the twists and turns of Moria the group has the opportunity to examine the sentinels who threatened them earlier.

 

Mostly elven types, pale and angered at being driven out of the woodland realms that they loved by the cult, armed strangely enough with rifles and pistols though some stick to their bows and arrows even now. Even more odd is the mixture of other beings with them, humans and dwarfs mostly.....But also a few orcs. It seems that the Cult has created some strange alliances when it conquered this "middle-earth" for its own. As they walk, Gimli's eyes glance over to the heros and he chuckles.

 

"Your all fortunate that we found you when we did. The Cult has become more active lately in apprehending "certain elements" and it was luck that we found you all first."

[Nesh]

"Bah! This is Akuma you speak of? He has a tendency to play with his victims, he's worse then his own comrades for that. Still, we resist him. Here, in the heart of Moria man, dwarf, elf and even orc have banded together to stop him and his masters. Hopefully, we shall know something more of them by our last raid."

"There is a Darkness upon this place....A remnant of ancient evils. I'm surprised that they have come here to hide, though a desperate being may well have little choice."
