CBUB Character Profiles That Need To Be Deleted/Re-Added, etc., Post Here

So does that mean that your deleting characters that have not been used at all? I understand why, but there are people on the site or people wanting to sign up here that are still trying to think of a match for those certain characters.

 

Oh yes, any profile that gets deleted here can be re-added if it fits the site's criteria for database characters. Check through this very topic and you'll see that some have already been re-added. The name of the topic is "CBUB Characters That Need To Be Deleted/Re-added, etc....", after all.

 

Yeah my bad. I had no ide that some of these characters were even taken care of. Maybe I should edit the list so it would be clear to people wich ones I think should be deleted or researched into a different catagory?

 

If you're up for it, that would be nice. It may be a bit before the reviewers can look through all those characters either way, though.

President James Marshall
Heckle and Jeckle
Mrs. Brisby/Frisby
T.O.M.
Beetle Bailey  

 

These may be among the last deletions and re-adds for a bit. There may be some changes coming down the pike that will make cleaning up the database easier.

Not to worry, Fox. Those characters were actually deleted weeks to months ago. I've just been re-adding those that were already deleted. I'll just re-add one more previously-deleted character tomorrow.

With changes coming in the near future, I might soon delete this topic and start a new one regarding character edits.

I don't know if you noticed this one Dskilz but I doubt that animated Ultra Magnus is a good battle pick for that character.

 

 

Way late getting to this, but better late than never. Yeah, Animated's Magnus could be considered kind of outdated for the profile (in more ways than one, heh), so I went ahead and put a new battle image in.

 

I think many would approve.

I'd love to have been consulted/seen the supposed porn link before you went ahead and deleted it. Seems like the type of thing you should talk to the rest of us about before doing.

Heh, I think AVP just wanted to see the porn site.  

 

This messes with some people win-loss records, but in so many ways that's a moot point now. With possibly two weeks left, though, some might still want to put Wondy in match, so she'll need to be re-added. Shouldn't be hard at all.

If you want the porn link, all you need to do is go to the "CBUB Rated Matches" or "CBUB Unrated Rumbles", find a Wonder Woman match, and look at the Callisto Post with the characters’ links.

I'm sorry about that man.   However, as the time on the site is starting to dwindle down, I didn't really know how many of ya'll would be around.

As an added incentive, provided the fact that porn is off limits everywhere on the site, I had to make a tough call.

Wouldn't really surprise me if our recent hacker friends put that porn link on Wondy's original profile. I don't seem to remember it being there at first myself. 

 

Aw well, now that all this attention's been brought to it, I'll now go about the business of deleting said link in Wondy's previous matches. Yes, fun, I know. <_>

 

EDIT: Done. And quicker than I thought. Fortunately, Callisto's posts of profile links only stayed up in unarchived matches and CP rumbles.

Hitman, if all is working on your control panel, you should be able to add the character yourself, but if you need help on that note, we can provide some pointers.

That said, I think you said something about not accepting duos anyway Fox, unless that's not still the case.

I’m not sure if my server has the ability to create a profile for the characters if it doesn’t I guess it’s up to you guy’s then.

The site has been offline for seven years, so you would think there would be a lot of big characters people would want to add.

So, I'm surprised at the influx of strange, obscure characters like the Lake Champlain monster (?).  I didn't even know the lake had a monster.

I mean, whatever floats your boat. It's cool.  I'm just surprised at these obscure additions.

A lot of time, the more obscure characters is who creators want to write about. There is only so many times we can write Goku vs. Superman lol.

Every time I go to open the character submission page every major release over the last seven years across any medium deserts my brain.

Will probably keep adding and using RWBY characters on a per-match basis tho. Surely if I jog my memory hard enough eventually at least one other modern interest HAS to shake loose????
