Vampires in Ventura

The headbutt was not so effective...Frost's punch pushed Colossus back, which Frost followed up by using his speed to close the distance, attempting to grab Colossus and throw him right through the jet to the outside.

As the vamps swarmed the group, several knocked back by the cards, a female vamp closed the distance to Remy, sinking her fangs into his neck and then tossing him back into her compatriots...for a mass feeding frenzy. "Thanks Swan!" they all said.

And who happened to be making his way near the group after a very nice and fun kill-But then again all of them were good kills! He turned his head as the vampire horde tore Remy apart and cackled. "Say, who let you punks have all the fun? Because its MY job to rip out your rib cage, lungs, and spleens! Now, you gone and got me curious...I WONDER WHAT COLOR YOU GUYS BLEED! Hahaha!",With that Carnage would fire razor sharp projectiles from his fingertips at Swan and the horde that killed Remy.

"More dead pilots. I'm noticing a pattern. If Fury ever wants to get rid of a few agents, he can just send 'em off with us and he'll never see them again." Blaze commented before dropping to his knees as his skin began to steam and turn a deep crimson as he morphed into the Ghost Rider once more.

The Spirit of Vengeance stood straight, cracking his neck once as he looked around at their opponents... He immediately homed in on the most evil, twisted presence amongst the vampires, namely Frost himself... Or rather, the entity residing within him. He ignored the other vampires for the time being, instead striding determinedly toward Frost. As he walked, he untangled his chain from around his torso, swung it over his head for a moment and launched it towards Frost like a whip, aiming to wrap around Frost as it had the earlier vampire while the Blood God toyed with Colossus.

Frost grabbed the chain of the rider. "Well well well, can't say I'm surprised to see you here, Ghost Rider." he said, pulling the chain with one hand, akin to a game of tug of war. Frost then noticed the hold on his leg...frowning, he snapped his fingers, using his matter manipulation to turn Colossus's metal arm into wood. Crouching down, Frost quickly used his other free hand to dismember Colossus's arm, releasing the hold.

Colossus merely howled in extreme pain, his arm having been transformed into wood and separated from his metallic mass. He merely groped at where his arm was with his other, attempting to cover what remained of his as he grunted prone in misery - "ARGH."

In a last ditch effort, as the pain began to overwhelm him, Colossus would kick suddenly and mightily toward Frost's knee, in attempt to shatter it and enable Ghost Rider a greater chance of success.

Frost would find the hellfire-empowered chain to be searingly hot, though whether the ethereal flame affected the Blood God or not remained to be seen... Regardless, Ghost Rider wrapped his end of the chain around his wrist to strengthen his grip, then yanked back with both hands, the fallen angel banking on his own considerable physical might being a match for Frost's. As he pulled, he uttered a single phrase:

"La... Magra..."

As Frost was yanked forward by the strength of Rider, having not been entirely focused on the tug of war and also having been in a semi crouch...Frost felt a mighty kick impact him in the back of the leg as he was pulled somewhat...feeling the force, he knew it had bruised something down there...possibly even a cracked bone. However his healing would soon deal with the pain...

Thus, he turned his attention back to the rider. "Yes Ghost?" he said as he pulled back with both hands, his strength superior to Rider's.

Carnage grinned as Swan charged at him and so tendrils would extend from his right arm to wrap around Swan's neck and hold her tightly. All, while doing this he had formed his left hand into an axe. "Coming right at me huh? Well, I guess I owe you some advice!" With that, he swung his axe-hand."Live a little!..Okay very little."

"Die." the Spirit of Vengeance responded as he was yanked forward, partly by Frost's strength and partly by his own mental control over his chain. As he was pulled, he blasted hellfire at Frost from his mouth at close range. If successful, he'd follow up by crashing into Frost headfirst and delivering two powerful punches to his face.

Meanwhile, the roar of an engine could be faintly heard as a certain vehicle drew near, under the Rider's mental command.

Frost drew back from the flames, dropping the chain. However the crash and the punches hit home. Surprising Frost, he leaped back and chuckled. "Not bad Ghost...but not enough." Frost said as he fired off a fireblast of his own with his pyrokinesis, aiming to prevent Rider from using his motorcycle.

Cyclops had been battling his way through the large group of vampires as he blasted away with his optic blast. Cyclops finally got to Frost as he aimed his next blast toward Frost who was too busy fighting Ghost Rider. Cyclops sent a wide blast toward Frost.

Frost was blasted away by the energy. Shaking it off, he stood up and sent a blast of fire towards the mutant. Ignoring Ghost Rider for the moment(as he was being swarmed by his minions), he turned attention to the wounded Colossus. Smacking and kicking him around, he sneered and gloated. "You thought you could mess with me? Sorry, you can't. Sad for you...I'mma finish you off now. Slowly. It's going to be so much fun that--"

At that moment, Fury's voice interrupted over the earpiece of Colossus and everyone else. "Heads up team, we finally got some assistance from across the blue. Took em a while to get here but they're here now."

As he finished, several planes full of soldiers flew overhead. All of them opened their hatches, parachuting men down while one carried someone with a little more power. This individual took to the skies with his flight and...

Frost felt what seemed like several swords go through his back. Glancing over his shoulder, he smirked and knocked Logan away with one fist, sending him flying.

Then someone else interfered. Firing a bright light before vanishing again...hmm. Frost said as he ignored that and went back to torturing Colossus.

"Now's a good a time as any to test that theory out," Iron Fist remarked as a vampire threw itself at him. He would sidestep and slam the vampire against the ground with chi-enhanced strength, healing flowing through his captive, attempting to eradicate the vampirism in its body.

Pillars of powered rock and soil mushroomed into the air as a newcomer asserted his presence on the field of battle, having dropped from the planes above. Frost turned from his metallic luncheon to assess his new opponent, hopefully one with the promise of drawing blood. He smiled, revealing twin bloodstained fangs, droplets of purple venom swelling at their tips. "And who might you be?" he asked, his voice a three way struggle between delight, disregard and disdain.

The newcomer, a male roughly six foot six in height and possessed of muscular build, responded, his voice an inflection from across the seas. "Name's Cap'n Britain."

Frost cocked his head to one side, his stance and expression becoming predatory, his eyes loosing civility under a broil of animalistic hunger. "Come to toss your lot in with the Yanks, have we?"

Captain Britain lifted his arm, drawing it behind him, searching for the holy sword strapped there. With calm and rehearsed movements, he drew Excalibur from its scabbard. "You could say that."

The chi cure would indeed work. The vampire felt his teeth shorten, his blood lust fade and yet...his age caught up with him. "What have you done to me?!" he yells before he ages hundreds of years in an instant...turning into a skeleton of ages past.

"Well then Englishman, you have sealed your fate. Better have savored your tea and crumpets, you won't get another meal. Not after I'm done with you." Frost remarks with a cocky smirk. "You have a nice sword. Pity it won't do much. Blade already tried...it didn't work out so well." Frost says before charging at the Brit with his vampiric speed, aiming an uppercut punch for the jaw.
