I have been messing around in the back end. 

Truth is this site gets a LOT of hits each day (Over 1 Billion since I took over just over a year ago). Thing is, people just aren't logging in. Right now (as of this comment) we have over 100 guests on the site and a variety of forums. So I've considered forcing people to the log in page. When I have attempted that, a lot of user start to log in, but the guests aren't signing up so it's a catch 20 at the moment.

Can someone please renamed Law (comics) back to Law? There's no other Law in the database, and as someone who's added him to the database, I'd really appreciate it if he was renamed back to just Law. I mean it's redundant to just put him as Law (comics) and very annoying.

Also, can we also rename Ferret (Malibu) back to The Ferret as I added him to the database as that? I mean there's no other "The Ferret" in comics, and the character is officially public domain now.

I had preemptively changed Law to Law (comics) because there are other characters out there that were named Law before him that haven't been added here yet. I guess we can leave him as just Law for now, but when and if someone adds one of the previous Law characters, maybe we could change it again to something like Law (Dark Horse)?

I suppose I could agree to that until another character with the name of Law is added.

Changed Thor (Marvel) to Thor Odinson as it's his proper name, and Mythological Thor doesn't really seem to have a last name according to folkloric canon. Odinson seems to be a Marvel thing only.

I added some quick buttons to the top of the page. This is to help navigate faster on ghe mobile side. I added the ones i would find the most useful, but if anyone esle has a suggestion I'm open to ideas.

I did a lot of cosmetic updates forum side, I hope everyone likes the changes.

Okay a lot more updates have made their way to the website, but my favorite now has to be the working Text To Speech engine at the bottom of topic pages. I can now listen to rated matches at work

It does appear to be bugged out at th moment. I've run out of time tonight, I'll try to figure it out some time this week. Propably got messed up by the other updates.

Speaking of bugs, images also can't be dragged into posting boxes like before.

The bugs actually came from something within the TTS script I inserted. They have now been fixed, but TTS has been temporarily removed from the forums until the script can be fixed without breaking other features.

The website will be getting some pretty significant updates in the background over the next couple weeks and may see some downtime. If you visit the site and it says it is down, don't worry it'll be back up shortly after. 

 

If all goes well, you guys shouldn't really notice any big differences but please keep an eye out for any bugs and let me know! Thanks!
