I was responding to Kid Stranglehold who said that Spidey's strength feats are better than Things.

 

Ah. I stand corrected.

 

To think Spiderman's strength feats are more impressive than Thing's is just.. wow.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but Namor is no where near Hercules when it comes to strength...Not even close. Hercules strength can't even be measured.

 

Not trying to rain on your parade. I put Namor at his peak near Base strength Hulk at best. But Namor is definitely stronger then the Thing.

Hercules acknowledged himself that Namor is stronger underwater, Hercules is stronger on land, and when Namor is at full strength on land they're dead even in strength. And Hercules hasn't become more powerful, he's just started performing more flashy feats.

No. Why does it matter? In AvX, Thing basically trapped Namor for a few seconds then ran away. On every other occasion they've fought, Namor has easily proved he was stronger.

And that's not even his most impressive strength feat. Also Hercules has gotten much stronger in years. How is Namor next to Hercules when not even Thor, Hulk or even Superman are on Hercules level when coming to strength.

He was exaggerating his feats and greatly underplaying Thor's. when he saw that he was making the kids sad by bad-mouthing their hero, he changed the story and said that Thor beat him with one punch.

 

The issue has one of my all-time favorite Thor lines in it. In Hercules' story he mocks Thor who is struggling to life a car to throw at him. Thor says: "Nay Olympain, 'tis not just a car. 'Tis a Volkswagon!"

Not never read the comic. No one ever said to me that it was not a real feat. This is how much stronger Hercs has gotten.

No. Why does it matter? In AvX, Thing basically trapped Namor for a few seconds then ran away. On every other occasion they've fought, Namor has easily proved he was stronger.

not once did he prove he was stronger sure he won but he has never proved he was stronger.

and the thing didn't run away he walked away if namor got up quick enough he could have tackled ben but he was pinned for long enough for ben to just walk away he proved he was stronger because namor had help and home turf and ben just powered him down and pinned him there then walk away calmly.

I already posted a scan of Hercules lifting the Heavens. Now show me Namor doing the same thing. All characters in comics get an upgrade. It whats natural...She Hulk use to be believe 75 tons, now she is a 75 tonner. Compare Wolverine to classic Wolverine...You get the picture. The writers always upgrade characters powers!

1. I am pretty sure Supes is above CM in strength and CA has now shown strength feats that rival Supermans. Maybe in combat, but not non combat strength feats.

 

2. I keep telling you combat strength does not mean he is stronger than Hercules. And Marvel still list Hercules above Namor. Their Marvel characters so Marvel should know more about their characters. Characters can say anything...You guys were busting my ass when I posted scans of two characters saying Sentry stalemated Galactus. Namor has not shown he can do the strength feats Hercules can do...
