C.T.
Your case was different. It's not the quotes alone like Sentry/Galactus. Herc admitted he and Namor were equals whilst they were fighting on equal level. Marvel writes Herc, so Marvel also admitted that.
Indolent
fyi Hulk doesn't need to show that he can perform the same feats as Thor or Hercules, the fact is if he gets pissed enough as the likes of World Breaker or World War Hulk, he's easily capable of replicating most feats. Also iirc he's held shut a black hole in hand, something Superman had difficulty doing Also closed nuclear doors that Thor and the Thing couldn't, has shattered reality with punches, etc, etc - you're downplaying Hulk... again. Marvel writes Herc, so Marvel also admitted that. Not really...Namor outside combat has not shown to rival the strength feats that Hercules have done. I can say Hercules saying Namor is equal to him is a hyperbole to make Namor seem strong. Maybe in the early 60's Namor was equal to Hercules, but I doubt anymore. I know Namor is stronger than the Thing, but the Thing was able to one shot Namor. Characters get stronger over times, that's my point.

C.T.
Herc is a boastful type, he would not say they were equals if it wasn't true. And yes, people do get stronger. Namor has evidently, given that he's equal with Herc.

But we have not seen Namors true strength potential under water. So I'm going to leave it at that and be fair.
C.T.
Doesn't have to be underwater, just fully hydrated, as he was when dueling Herc on land.
comic_book_fan
1. I said Base Strength Hulk and even so Hulk has not shown strength feats that rival Thors or Hercules.2. If you're saying The Thing is on the strength level of Thor, Hercules or even Namor than think again...when your only power is strengh and you bust up the sidewalk with thor's head and burry him under buildings he may not be as strong but the deffrince is not that great.same with herc those 2 might be a little stronger but it's not like you think and i think the thing is a little stronger than namor at the moment until namor proves it wrong do i think ben could beat thor namor no because they have speed and other powers but in a test of strength he could match either of them. The Thing has not shown himself to be on the levels of Namor in terms strength. Namor when hydrated is easily above 100 tons(100 tons is the maximum in Marvel terms). The Void
@Jaeger Panzer Please explain to me how I was "downplaying" Hulk(unless you're an angry fanboy ... JK)? All I said was Hulk has not shown the strength feats that Thor or Hercs has done. How am I downplaying. The thread I made was meant to see if he was on the level of Supes or Thors, I even stated that on the thread.

Indolent
...Is it really that difficult for you to see the contradicting statements in that post just now? I mean, the definition of downplaying and what you said pretty much matches the context of what I was getting across, I do not know why it's this difficult to comprehend. C.T.
  Hercules lifting up the Heavens is way after that. So maybe he has gotten stronger since that point. Namor is still equivalent to Herc at that point in time, which is long after he arm wrestled Thor.

Indolent
Yet you're acting like I purposely did....It's not a matter of intent. It's the fact you did - purposefully or not was not the point at all. Getting smart there was cute but completely pointless and moot.
