Me personally this was maybe my 3rd rp period. Npt perfect, but hey, we improved and it got done :P.

Guest Jason Redfield

Name: Jason Lucas Redfield aka Daniel Wright**

Age: 44

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Appearance: Jason stands at 6'4", weighing in at roughly 250 pounds. Redfield's physique is athletic and toned, with a fair amount of muscle. His hair is dark brown and thick, even in his older age. Jason's eyes are a steely gray color. He is of Caucasian descent but has tanned skin. A small but distinctive scar runs down his left cheek.

redfield_starfire.jpg

(Other pics: *, *, *)

Rank: Major/Lieutenant Commander**

Job Class: Marine/ONI Operative**

Callsign: Vanguard

Bio: Jason's parents were both members of the Planetary Alliance: his father a distinguished naval officer and diplomat, and his mother a Marine. Redfield's family settled in the small colony of Benning, intent on leaving behind the rigors of military life. However, slavers attacked the settlement when Redfield was an adolescent, razing the colony and killing his parents in the process. The boy survived, and went on to enlist with the Planetary Alliance Marine Corps years later.

Jason impressed many with his natural talent for combat and ended up joining a Marine Special Forces detachment at the nearly-unheard of age of nineteen. After several years of distinguished service with various SF outfits, Redfield was inducted into the Office of Naval Intelligence, where he remained during the climax of the war with the Sh'ra, serving as both a paramilitary commando and intelligence operative (spy).

Redfield remains with ONI, having risen through the ranks. He now commands much of the organization's Special Operations Division, charged with covert/clandestine paramilitary and intelligence ops. He has recently been assigned to the Starfire with the cover (and credentials) of the ship's Marine detachment commander under the name Daniel Wright.

Weapon Preference: Jason generally eschews energy weapons in favor of his trusty M44 MAWS (picture), when he can get his hands on it. His regular personal sidearm, however, is a slugthrower pistol. He tends to carry at least one blade on his person at all times, as well.

Home Planet: Benning

**Redfield's cover is as a Marine detachment commander holding the rank of Major. However, his "real" rank as a member of Naval Intelligence is Lieutenant Commander.

Guest Jason Redfield

Name: Vincent Matlock

Age: 26

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Appearance:

image-mass-effect-2-characters-jacob-tay

Rank: Lieutenant Junior Grade

Job Class: Crewman (Master-At-Arms and Special Investigations Officer)

Callsign: Sentry

Bio: Vincent grew up in the hustle-and-bustle of Earth's major cities. Following the death of his father -- a decorated Marine -- in battle, his mother raised him and his two siblings alone in slums overrun by gangs and violence. The small family carved out a meager living for themselves.

However, Vincent's younger brother was killed during a gang shootout. His mother's physical and psychological health began to fail, forcing Vincent to step up. After finishing high school, he used what money he had saved up to join the Naval Academy, graduating at the top of his class. His first paycheck was spent relocating his family to a quiet colony far from Earth.

He is now a rookie officer, working as a Master-At-Arms and Special Agent for the Alliance Navy's Bureau of Special Investigations, enforcing the rule of law and investigating crime and security breaches across the fleet.

Weapon Preference: Due to his position in law enforcement, Vincent regularly carries a collapsible stun baton. When possible, he also carries a blaster pistol that is also capable of firing incapacitating electric darts.

Wow, I don't connect for a bit and find several new recruits!

All of you look good so far, glad to see some returning veterans and new faces. I think I might know who's going to be squad leader for the marines and flight leader.

Heh. It was my first. Period. As people could probably tell by looking through the RP, but eh, it was a fairly cool RP anyway. Especially at HWFM's side, I'm pretty sure he always got in the craziest battles. And he left me to almost get ripped to pieces by a whole pack of super Sh'ra GEs. Had to detonate a rad bomb or something like that to get out.

Name: Naomi Wu

Age: 25

Species: Human

Gender: Female

Appearance: Around 5'8" with shoulder-length black hair, around 110 lbs with the arm, 100 without, her arm runs on fusion batteries (meant to last years) and wires connected to electrical pulse wires that emit signals that copy nerves in her left arm, allowing movement from her brain in the machinery, she generally wears spandex and light metal alloy armor. She is of Asian descent.

http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=scifi+werewolf#/d31scch (I'm sorry I can't post the actual picture, I'll fix it on Kindle later, as this computer isn't good enough to do anything but post)

Rank: POSC (Petty Officer Second Class)

Job Class: Crewman

Callsign: No callsign

Bio: When the Sh'ra ravaged the planet of Jandiin (a human colony planet), her parents were killed, and her arm was torn off by an explosive triggered by a soldier some distance from her. She collapsed shortly thereafter from shock and bloodloss, and when she awoke found herself in Sh'ra care, a sterile, white sickbay.

She'd been used as an experiment for cybernetic limbs by the Sh'ra, and luckily, it was successful. She enlisted in the Sh'ra military at age 18, unaware of their ideals.

For four years from the years eighteen to twenty-two, she partook in battles and brawls caused by the Sh'ra. Over these years she learned all she could about her prosthetic/cybernetic limb, and eventually knew all the workings of it, from when to recharge it to how to wire it in case she had to make another one, including all the wire ports by color arrangement.

She then started to have her own thought process based on her experiences, not the words of her Sh'ra mentor. She realized how wrong the Sh'ra were in this war, that their ideals were far from pure-- though she'd come to realize no one's ideals were pure, merely as close as they could, excluding the Sh'ra. She noticed the Alliance had a system more suited to her and left on her own ship to Earth, where she came under the white flag and surrendered the ship to the Alliance without dispute.

She's being watched as a spy and has been for the last three to four years. She enlisted in the Alliance Navy because she wanted to do good on the right side. She already knew many things about combat, and through her four-year experiences knew much of the Sh'ra bases that the Alliance previously knew nothing of. She also revealed what she knew about their trade routes and how to cut them off, and when would be ideal.

She was assigned to the new Starfire Squadron as a navigator because she knew space so well.

Weapon Preference: She usually uses her arm, which has an array of tools and weapons for her disposal (which she's added on as she noticed the repeated need); Think the Cyborg from Treasure Planet rather than DC Cyborg on this one; a circular wheel of tools like a vibro-blade, a hacking device (think R2-D2), a blaster pistol with clip, Swiss-Army Knife (you never know when a can opener will come in handy), and a robotic hand (fully functional but with a hydraulic grip so she could likely crush bones with it, or dent metal).

Full Weapon Array (outside of special arm): Slug assault rifle, regular vibroblade, regular blaster pistol

Name: Maharil (wouldn't you like to know her last name)

Age: 18

Species: Pantheurian,

Gender: Female

Appearance: MahaOP2.png

Rank: E3- Spacehand first class

Job class: Crewman: Engineer/Medic

Bio: Maharil was born of proud Pantheurian blood near the end of the war. Her parents told her many stories of battle, tripumph, lost, and...romance. Though, they said she was normal, Maharil was actually quite odd. Not only physically with a regressive condition leaving her mostly furless but she didn't really partake in the same rituals and play things as other young Pantheurians do. What she really liked, what she had a knack for, was...building things. And not only that, she also likes to take things apart, see how they tick and such. She would also try her hand on reverse enginngering things, where she only succedded half the time. Time moved quickly, and Maharil grew into a young adult. She was ready to take her 'life line' to the next level. So she signed on as an Enginner for this new Ship, called the Starfire. She wouldn't know what kinda of adventures awaited her but she was quite excited.

Weapon preference:

Small blasters, stun and Blunt weapons, custom wrench(long handled multi-size wrench, capable of twisting plying, or breaking anything it can get in it's teeth. Come's with a 'special surprise')

Bio: A little rascal when she was growing up, that eventually lead her to be with the wrong crowd, the very wrong crowd. She fell deep into the underground world of pirating with one of the baddest of the bads. Kosh, she ran the gun trades for him and many of his associates. That is until Kosh kicked the bucket; losing her primary income source, she decided to go legit and go with the galactic federation

Weapon preference: Guns, guns, and guns! If it has a trigger, or it can fire something, it's her thing. Though, if she really had to pick; she'd go for ballistic pistols. There easy to use, gives better options, and are just the first things she fired when she starting shooting. She is also fond of some more exotic weaponry: crossbows, balistic knvies, flachete launcher, etc.

because why the hell not...

Name: Destiny Maccrie

Age: 31

Species: Rhysellen

Gender: Female

Appearance: ___alor_be_maan_ade_mandalore____by_kristafee-d5411mc.png

Rank: Navy Chief Warrant Officer Three(CW03)

Job class: crewman (intelligence officer)

Bio: Destiny grew up during the brutal Sh'ra war, but for the most part where she lived there wasn't a care in the world...as long as you sticked to the right places. She knew her home wasn't exactly perfect, but she respected the level of safety she had and was more than happy to chat around with the military on leave that stuck around her neck of town. Then things changed a bit one day near the end of the war when she snuck into a bar underage and got careless(as well as drunk). She found herself half-concious and in the middle of being dragged away by slavers. The only thing that saved her was the intervention of a navy man she had attempted to flirt earlier, who noticed her predicament. She was spared being broken and sold off at a young age and was more than thankful for this. While it still took a few years, she eventually decided that the newly formed Planetary Alliance was where she had to be at to repay everything. The 'war' she entered was different and it was likely better that way. Not being fond of criminals, especially slavers, that stole and and reaped rewards off others misery she figured the intelligence business was her way to go to fight the invisible war that wanted to stay hidden. She's a capale analyst, but she found a real niche in the deep cover business as one can say many things about a Rhyshellan, but an undercover government agent is the last thing a person tends to think of one when they in head your direction dressed in something that can barely be described as clothing. She joined The Starfire after years of putting her body and wellbeing on the line and finally wanting something a bit more stable as the Alliance comes together. She also was recruited specifically as a favor to the ship's Commander, who she had worked with in a handful of missions years prior.

Weapon preference:

*twin plasma pistols- Destiny was a fair shot with a sidearm, in her cases it was usually the biggest thing she could carry on her person if she was lucky. While concealable blasters were prefferable at first, she eventually became much more comfortable with a fair sized blaster as a symbol to not mess with her when need be. When undercover in one colony she had befriended some rebels who had taken a liking to 'guns akimbo' and she picked up the skill accordingly. She enjoys occasionally showing off, especially to someone who would question her effectiveness.

*Hold-out Pistol w/ palmprint reader- Of course on the occasion she needs to conceal a weapon, her issued holdout slugthrower will be on her person, tucked away safetly. It's low caliber might prove ineffective on some more resilient species, but she's good enough to make her shots count and aim where it hurts. One last trick is a palm print reader: when activated, it will not fire under any circumstances if Destiny isn't properly gripping it and the one firing, which has saved her from some karmic deaths in her past.

*Ballistic SMG(conversion)- Another resourceful trick she learned from her rebel friends was how to 'crank up' the speed on an semi-automatic ballistic weapon. After being given a large-caliber service pistol from a friend for a promotion, she thanked him then quickly went to modifying it with a retractable stock, sights, and a large magazine well so it could be a true bullet hose at close range. She keeps the stock folded up and the sights off when not in necessary use to hide the true extent of the weapons modifications.

*gas gun(wrist mount)-Destiny is no slouch in a fight by any strethc of the imgination, however she'll be the first to admit there is plenty out tthere that can outmuscle her with little problems. She likes being as prepared as possible in /all/ situations but when it comes to close safety she's not the most fond of knives and the average taser weapon is too bulky for her taste. So she concuted a fairly standard rig that fit around her wrist. Giving her a good reason to wear something with sleeves once in awhile, she brings it if she needs escape from a bad spot. Fires various gas pellets, one shot before a lengthly reload process is required so she is sure to make it count.
