Gee, this can't possibly be worse than the current pages - having the forums in a webpage frame that hardly displays right.

 

If youre only complaint is Callisto showing the links that seems kind of minor.

How about if you have to view it in the "Electricferret" skin? This would be the same general look and feel of the previous match pages.

Even if I have it set on Dark, when looking at it, it always reverts to the ElectricFerret skin.

 

My only disagreement was the Callisto handle posting up the links, really. But it's just a minor aesthetic complaint. So really, there is no need to change anything because one person doesn't like the new format. If others like it, well more power to you.

 

Chances are I am in the minority.

Hmm... The "guests" outnumber us greatly.

 

Well, the concept is that if they like the site and what's going on with it, then they'll register and become members.

 

CBUB Battles is the only forum Guests can post in.

 

I know that I, personally, have gotten so jaded on the Internet over the years that I won't join a site until I am sure I like it.

Sounds interesting, Serge. I really didn't use the internet much before, and joined the first day, after Jean told me about this site. I can understand wanting to see what it's like before joining, though. By joining the first day, and putting up a match quickly, I got off to a pretty horrible start. :blush:

I guess I should mention that Guests can vote on the CBUB matches, also. However, they cannot rate the quality of the match.

Interesting way to attract the masses.

 

One question, though: will there eventually be a way for us mods (and those that will eventually be elevated back to admin status) to block troublemaking guests from posting and voting if need be?
