Chapter 5: Essential Equipment

Katrina wrote,

A wide array of weaponry is always a good thing. But, if one only has a few, or even just one weapon, be sure that you can use that one weapon, in many, many ways. The warrior of a thousand weapons can be bested by the individual with a single weapon, if his skill in using it is great enough.

Lee would come into the room and write some information.

Always eat the curry of life before missions and on missions if you can bring some along. Train train train and train some more. And remember on the battlefield always use the power of youth!

Walking in, Galen would pull out his book and peruse it, his eye twitching at Vergils and Lady's post before he scribbled down the following.

In short, ensure that you are well prepared, yet not encumbered. Familiar with a wide variety, yet well-skilled with one weapon, as you may rely on this the most.

He then wrote up the following.

Chapter 6: Proper clothing.

He then paused and added.

P.S. The next one who desecrates my book is gonna get a lightsaber shoved up where the sun doesn't shine. That is all.

Content, he placed the book down and walked off.

Chapter 6: Proper clothing.

Lucy walked in, took one look at the chapter header, and verbally squeed

Ok, so, first thing you need to do is get all of your measurements correct, because an illfitting outfit looks horrible no matter what. Then...

A few hours and a couple dozen pages later

... unless its raining out, in which case you obviously don't want to do that. Wear something easier to move in then. Hope that helps!

Red would look through the journal, reading through several entries. Then when mother nature called... he took care of his business on the journal itself. Embarrassed by the folly he accidentally performed, he closed the journal, which only added insult to injury as the journal itself is now permeated with the squirrel's excrement.

"CHATTER...", he said meekly as he once more shunshin'd away from the library.

Freddy, who had stumbled upon the book, grinned as he wrote down that proper clothing should be a green and red striped sweater, and brown sweat pants. Oh, and a cool fedora hat.

"Hehe, even if these losers do wear that, they still won't look as cool as the Fredster in them.",Freddy mumbled to himself.

RJ would walk back in, ignoring the smell, as he wrote on the proper chapter.

RJ, again. Always wear whats appropriate for the situation. Whwen cooking I like to wear proper cook ware. When training I have my nice Gi. For a proper fight a good uniform or armor is very helpful. If you are however caught unaware in a situation...well make the best of it. Or carry around spares. Either way you should look good to be good.

RJ smiles. He signs the entry before noticing Galen's PS about the ligthsaber. Intimidated and not wanting to be blamed, he would frantically scribble out RJ from the section, though only the title and not the rest making it painfully obvious. He then ran for the door.

Chapter 6: Proper clothing.

Again Snake would move from his postion in his box to write in the book once more, even though he saw Red do his "Business" he just chucked it up, as being natural.

]Proper Clothing is a must...wether being in the jungles, mountains, rivers, or an urban enviroment...you should always have the proper articles of clothing to camoflauge yourself no matter where you are. IF you dont have it, take it from the person or thing that would make you one with what ever setting you encounter.

Feeling that he gave good advice he would go back to his corner motionless in his box

  • 5 weeks later...

Spider-Man wandered into the library once more, though he had no idea how he'd ended up there. He found the small Journal among the shelves, flicked through its pages quickly, saw that the last entry was almost a month old, grabbed a pen and scribbled one word in block capitals:

BUMP

  • 3 weeks later...

The sounds of explosions, the smell of burning and more would occur before the doors slid open, and Galen walked in. His lightsaber activated in one hand, and his book in the other which had somehow aquirred something that looked like crap on it. As well as little squirrel footprints. And calmly, he began to scan each page individually....

Much later.....

He sighed, having saved it on a word file equivalent that while less personable then a book, certainly was neater. And placing the book under glass, he turned to the computer.....And sighed, walking out of the room. He needed a break....

In the silence of the library, the Librarian would shuffle out and read the entries before huffing with amusement as he contemplated. Drawing on his vast knowledge as well as his experience of years both as a wizard as well as a librarian with access to every single book in existence before he typed in his entry. Then using spell check as well as peer review from a hawk with a camera around its neck that somehow turned up, he nodded with satisfaction and shuffled away, his entry for the chapter showing bold and clear.

Ook.
