Donatello and Ramon circled around one another, eyes locking onto each other as the two were sending cold daggers to one another from their glares. When they arrived at the middle of the designated fighting area, they stopped in their movements. Donatello spun his electric steel staff within his hands and he tucked it underneath his right arm as he set himself into his fighting stance. The red masked Turtle then watched as the Mexican Luchador in the green and black tracksuit turned with his left side facing him, now bouncing on his toes. Donatello turned and looked over to his brothers, and the intellectual Turtle gave a nod to them. Leonardo crossed his arms, and he nodded in return. Raphael clenched his hands firmly into fists, and he pumped them to show his support of Donatello and Michelangelo held up his two thumbs and grinned. With the encouragement given, Donatello figured that it was now time to start the fight, and he kicked things off as he then swung his staff across, taking aim for the blonde luchador’s head as he would move his staff quickly.

Ramon widened his eye, and he threw his weight back as he curled himself into a ball, rolling away from the Turtle as he effectively managed to dodge the incoming staff before he rolled back to his feet. Donatello followed as he stepped in towards his opponent, spinning his staff in a figure eight motion and moved his staff over from side to side, and then he would swing the bottom end of his weapon up as he took aim for Ramon’s chin. Widening his eye, Ramon reacted by leaning to his left, barely managing to dodge the incoming staff. Donatello then would bring his staff downward, moving the back end of the staff for the top of Ramon’s head but the luchador immediately leaned to his right and again managed to dodge the incoming staff.

The Luchador then turned with his hips as he then jabbed his left and right arm out, taking aim for the Turtle’s face as he intended to strike at him with a couple of light punches but Donatello turned and positioned his staff to defensively block with the weapon, but Ramon quickly then pushed himself with his feet only to thrust both legs out as he took aim for the Turtle’s plastron as he aimed to land in a drop kick. Donatello gasped when the luchador managed to land his feet onto his plastron, causing the Turtle to stumble back from the blow.

Quickly regaining his footing, Donatello slammed his feet to the ground and gripped his staff firmly in hand but then watched as the blonde haired Mexican now would be running right in towards him. Ramon leapt to the air once more but then turned with his weight as he snapped his right leg back in a jumping back thrust kick, once more striking his foot into Donatello’s chest, but this time effectively caused the Turtle to drop onto his rear as he managed to land his Rolling Sabat technique, but then followed up with a Flying Body Attack as he then leapt forward and aimed to body splash onto the mutant Red Ear Slider. Donatello felt a weight dropping onto him, and grunted as he Ramon successfully managed to land the attack.

Quickly rising to his feet, Ramon then hunched down and took hold of Donatello by the shoulders, only to force him to hunch forward as he now wrapped both arms around his neck. Using the strength in his legs and his back, the luchador would heave Donatello up and drop back as he now performed the Tiger Neck Chancery throw.

“TIGER NECK CHANCERY!”

Donatello was tossed and dropped onto his carapace, and he grunted upon impact as he hit the deck of the cruise ship and then firmly shut is eyes in discomfort of having experienced something like that. Widening his eyes open, Donatello grit his teeth and he firmly placed his hands onto the ground and pushed himself to his feet. Ramon once more rushed right in towards the red masked ninja, but Donatello then leaned forward and he thrust his staff outward, firmly striking the man in his mid-section and caused Ramon to lurch and clutch his mid-section.

“AYYY!” Ramon gasped as he widened his eyes, the air being pushed out from his lungs.

Donatello then took advantage of this moment as he then spun his staff in his hands in a figure eight motion and shifted his weapon from side to side only to strike Ramon firmly on his arms and legs. But then he took aim for the Luchador’s sides, now swinging both ends from his staff from side to side, firmly striking at Ramon. The man winced and cringed from the blows which Donatello was dealing onto him, and the Turtle then would bring the bottom end of the staff vertically downward, firmly striking Ramon on the head before he slammed his staff onto the deck floor, and then catapulted himself forward, now snapping is right leg out and struck Ramon in his mid-section.

“GET’EM, DONNIE!” Michelangelo cheered!

Ramon was now sent flying back only to hit the ground and he rolled back from the force of the blow. When he rolled onto his chest, Ramon wrapped both arms around his stomach and he grunted from the pain which the Turtle had inflicted onto him. Be he fought through the pain and placed his hands onto the ground only to push himself to his knees, and then slowly stood back up to his feet.

Donatello rushed forward and he quickly pushed himself as he tensed his leg muscles, only to then take to the air as he leapt up and then raised his arms, his staff held high above and the red masked ninja then would aim to bring the steel staff down for the top of Ramon’s head once more. However, the Mexican Luchador quickly side-stepped over to the Turtle’s left, and responded by turning with his weight and he jabbed his left and right arm outward, aiming for Donatello’s face but then followed up by swinging his right arm in an uppercut. Donatello quickly then positioned and turned his staff, blocking and diverting the first two punches away but he stepped back and positioned his staff horizontally, blocking the uppercut as it came up. Ramon reached out with his arms and took hold of the Turtle’s weapon firmly in hand, only to pull it forward and he thrust his head forward only to firmly strike it directly into Donatello’s forehead, causing the Turtle’s senses to be momentary jarred.

“NNGH!” Donatello grunted, his eyes firmly shut as a wash of discomfort moved through his head.

Ramon then still gripped his hands around Donatello’s weapon but then firmly planted his feet onto the Turtle’s chest, and then he pushed himself up with his feet and threw his weight back but at the same time he would kick both his feet upward as he performed an offensive Somersault technique, firmly smacking his feet into Donatello’s chin and caused the Turtle to fly back and once more hit the ground. Ramon would proceed with the motion and landed feet first onto the deck floor of the ship. Ramon quickly then once more ran in towards the Turtle and he turned to spin only to push himself up and he threw his weight back now performing a reverse somersault as he aimed to land onto the Turtle’s chest to execute his Bird of Paradise technique.

Donatello widened his eyes as he laid on the ground but quickly then turned and rolled to his right and managed to evade the man from landing onto him. Quickly rising once more, the Turtle then would swing his right leg diagonally up for Ramon’s head, performing a roundhouse kick and he managed to land the blow onto the Mexican wrestler. Ramon felt a stinging sensation lingering on his face and his own senses jarred. Seizing the opportunity, Donatello would swing his staff over from right to left, firmly striking Ramon hard across the face with both ends of the staff, and then he firmly planted the staff onto the deck floor and he would swing his weight to the left, now firmly smacking his feet directly into Ramon’s chest. The luchador grunted as he felt the Turtle’s feet striking him, and he was now sent stumbling back and hit the rail behind himself. Turning, Ramon realized that had the rail not been there, he would’ve taken a serious tumble and end up finding himself on the lower deck and possibly been seriously hurt from the fall. He breathed a sigh of relief, his cheeks puffing out as he brushed his forehead.

But there was no time for relief, as Donatello now came rushing right in at Ramon. The Turtle then raised his staff overhead and he swung it downward, but Ramon dashed to his right and watched as the metal staff would strike at the rail that had stopped his fall. A loud clang was head as the metal staff made contact with the rail, and Donatello pulled his staff back and readied for another strike as he then swung his weapon to the left, aiming to strike at Ramon’s mid-section with the metal staff but Ramon hopped back, evading the Turtle’s strike.

Ramon quickly then hopped onto the rail, and pushed himself off from it and threw his weight forward while airborne, now soaring above Donatello and the blonde Luchador firmly padded onto his feet. Ramon then ran ahead, moving right towards Donatello but the Turtle then moved his left hand back, now grabbing hold of a few shurikens and then took aim for the deck floor, and he flung his hand— now releasing the shurikens from his grasp. Ramon was forced to stop, and widened his eyes as the throwing blades suddenly erupt in brief small explosions.

The red masked Turtle rushed ahead, and he quickly then turned with his weight as he then swung his right arm across and firmly struck his fist onto Ramon’s face. The luchador’s senses were jarred once more, and the Turtle now followed up by then moving his arms out and then slipped his staff behind Ramon’s shoulders only to pull him in, and he would thrust his head forward and slammed it into Ramon’s face.

“UNNNGH!! TU PINCHE MIERDA! QUE MALO!” Ramon shouted in pain.

“YEAH!! MESS HIM UP, DONATELLO!!” Raphael exclaimed.

Donatello then would pull Ramon closer to him with his staff still positioned behind his opponent’s shoulders, and he would then lean up and he repeatedly thrust his right knee up directly into the Luchador’s mid-section, pushing the air out from Ramon as he slammed his knee into him multiple times. Ramon grunted out each time when Donatello’s knee managed to make contact. Donatello then had removed his staff from behind Ramon’s shoulders, and he pushed himself forward only to snap his right leg up in a leaping front kick, firmly striking the blonde haired Mexican man directly in his chest and once more caused Ramon to stumble back.

However, Ramon dashed forward and he wrapped his arms around Donatello’s shoulders, only to move behind him and turned in a spin as he heaved him up and dropped forward— in turning slamming Donatello onto his chest. Ramon hunched and he placed his hands onto the reptile’s shell, hoisting him back up onto his feet and firmly planted his left hand to the back of Donatello’s head only to then slam in his right elbow into the red masked Turtle’s face twice, before he pushed himself to the air with a leap and now would execute his Feint Step drop kick by catapulting himself forward and firmly slammed his feet into Donatello’s face. The intellectual Turtle now was again sent flying and he would slam down onto one of the many beach benches found on the upper deck, only to briefly bounce off and hit the deck floor and turned, landing on his chest.

“Dude, that luchador is… actually better than I thought! I mean he’s actually giving Donatello a hard time!” Michelangelo spoke, turning to now meet Leonardo’s gaze.

This was something a bit concerning for Leonardo to witness. He knew that Donatello was a skilled ninja in his own right, but there was no way that Ramon should be giving his brother this much difficulty. While Donatello was now slouch, and even had saved the others many times in life and death situations— Leonardo knew that Donatello was more focused on developing his intelligence than anything else. But he had hoped that Donatello would come out on top with this experience and become a better ninja through it all.

“Let’s just hope he pulls through, Mike… Let’s hope he pulls through.” Leonardo spoke.

Ramon stepped to the downed Turtle, again reaching out and picking him up back onto his feet. The Luchador wasted no time as he then now would move his arms out and wrap them around Donatello’s head, only to force him to hunch down as he then would lift up with his legs and back, only to throw the mutant Terrapin’s weight back and dropped him back onto the deck floor. Ramon would roll back with the motion as he slammed Donatello, again performing the technique and dropped Donatello again— causing the Turtle immense discomfort. Pulling Donatello up as he rose, Ramon then spun behind the Turtle, and tossed him down, causing the mutant Red Ear Slider to drop face first onto the ground as Ramon had performed his Tiger Spin super technique.

“Shit don’t look too good for Brain Boy over there! Fuck!” Raphael cursed.

Donatello hadn’t been expecting this kind of pain and discomfort. He had been through many difficult fights in this tournament and not many of them had been easy, and he also knew that he hadn’t had as many wins as neither Raphael nor Michelangelo. The intellectual Turtle planted his hands to the deck floor and he slowly pushed himself up to his feet once again. The mutant Red Ear Slider then gripped his staff firmly in his hands and he spun it only to then tuck it underneath his left arm and set himself to his fighting stance once more.

Ramon rushed ahead, as he then snapped his left leg out in a front kick for Donatello’s mid-section but the Turtle moved his staff out, blocking the foot before it could even hit him. Ramon responded by then swinging his left arm across for a hook punch but the Turtle hunched down and managed to evade the incoming strike. The Luchador followed with the movement of the previous punch, now moving his right arm across and swung his hand in a back fist motion, intending on landing a solid blow to Donatello’s head. The mutant Red Ear Slider leaned back, evading the incoming punch but responding by spinning his staff and he swung the metal weapon up, now striking Ramon firmly underneath his chin and followed up by swinging the staff down, impacting it hard onto the blonde haired man’s left shoulder, causing Ramon to tilt during impact.

Donatello ran towards his opponent, and he quickly turned in a spin and he swung his staff over to the left and firmly struck Ramon in his mid-section, causing the Mexican luchador to double over and gasp in agonizing pain. The red masked Turtle then would spin his staff and he planted it to the deck floor, before he pushed himself up with his legs, and then threw his weight back, kicking his feet and impacted Ramon’s chin. Ramon would be kicked to the air, as Donatello set himself to his feet once more and the Turtle shifted forward, again spinning his staff over from right to left— now striking Ramon as he would be juggled in the air. Donatello quickly brought the back end of his staff down, slamming the Luchador to the deck floor and watched as he bounced. Finishing this up, Donatello then thrust his staff upward and firmly jabbed his weapon to Ramon’s mid-section, before he turned and slammed his opponent down onto the ground quite harshly.

Ramon writhed in agony now as he worked to push his hands and feet onto the ground, and then he would push himself to his knees and then worked to stand despite the pain which his form had been put through. His body shuddered, and breathed through his nose and exhaled from his mouth— now working to fight through the pain. Donatello then blinked in momentary surprise only to shake his head, expressing his displeasure at how far this fight could potentially go. But he was ready to see this through the end.

The Turtle and the Luchador now rushed at one another. Punches, kicks, and swings of the staff were exchanged and both worked to either evade or deflect the incoming strikes. Both would swiftly move, almost becoming a blur as members from each team watched on with anticipation. Donatello and Ramon then swing fists in to one another, impacting each other in the face as they managed to land in a hit. However, Donatello would swing his staff horizontally over from right to left, firmly striking Ramon in his mid-section and then thrust his staff to his stomach region, forcing the Luchador to buckle back but Ramon moved his arms and took hold of Donatello’s weapon—and in turn, he would drag the Turtle with him, both now falling and splashing into the pool.

Ramon refused to let go of Donatello’s weapon, but the red masked ninja tensed up all of the muscles within his arms, working to resist and pull his electric staff from his opponent. Both would tug and pull, but then Donatello realized the level of danger both happened to be in.

“NO! STOP!” Donatello shouted.

But Ramon’s hand would slip and press on the button, activating the metal staff’s offensive features. An electric surge arced from the ends of the staff while the weapon was submerged. Blue flashes illuminated underneath the water, and both the mutant Red Ear Slider and the Luchador suddenly felt an overwhelming sting moving through their bodies, and were forced to release the staff. Darkness would overwhelm the vision of the two, and both would be left to float away from one another, neither moving nor conscious.

“DONNIE!!” Michelangelo shouted as he rushed over to the pool. The wily Turtle then moved his arms out and he took hold of his brother by the shell, pulling him to the edge of the pool and lifted him out and placed him flat onto his back. Michelangelo patted Donatello shoulders, asking if he was alright and would check for a pulse and a heartbeat.

“RAMON!” Angel moved towards the pool as fast as she could, and when Ramon floated towards the edge, she dunked her hands in to grab at his shoulders and pulled him out only to check for a pulse and his heartbeat. Angel breathed a sigh of relief when she felt a heartbeat the moment she placed a hand onto his chest.

“FUCK!” Raphael shouted as he now looked over to his fallen brother. The hot-headed Turtle stormed his way over to Michelangelo and Donatello, now glaring down at the unconscious Turtle for a moment. Raphael couldn’t help but feel sympathetic for the genius of his family, knowing that he had been screwed over by luck in this tournament. He shook his head, expressing disapproval of the way Donatello had suffered another outcome which resulted in a draw. He moved his hands down, now taking hold of his twin sai and drew his weapons out.

“Keep an eye on Donnie, Mikey. I’m gonna head up to bat now.” Raphael spoke.

Leonardo however moved his right hand out and took hold of his hot-headed brother by his left shoulder, stopping the other Turtle for a moment. Raphael paused, now turning to look at Leonardo.

“Go do what you do best, Raph. Me and Mike will look after Don. Just kick some ass out there for us.” Leonardo nodded.

“Like you need to tell me twice, Leo!” Raphael smirked.

The red masked Turtle took a step forward, only to set his focus on both Angel and El Fuerte— the only remaining members of the opposing team. Michelangelo had already taken care of King of Dinosaurs, and Donatello and Ramon both took each other out by an unfortunate mishap. The two Mexican wrestlers looked to one another for a second, but it would be El Fuerte who would now step forth to meet the hot-headed Turtle.

“Alright! Guessing this is gonna be Ninjutsu versus Lucha Libre. So who are you supposed to be? Santo?” Raphael raised a brow.

“No. No es Santo. Mi nombre es El Fuerte!” The masked wrestler spoke out.

Raphael nodded his head in understanding, now finally having a name to associate with his masked opponent. He turned around, once more looking over to his brothers and watched as Michelangelo and Leonardo were tending to Donatello, who remained unconscious. He rolled his tongue around in his left cheek, and now summoned up the spirit to battle as he now returned his attention to the man who would be his opponent. Raphael spun his twin sai within his hands and the red masked Turtle then snapped himself into his fighting stance.

“Ain’t no use pussy footin’ around, now is there?”

The silver masked Luchador then moved into his own fighting stance, his hands remaining open as he now set his focus onto the hot-headed Terrapin. El Fuerte took a step towards Raphael, and Raphael moved in closer towards his opponent as well. Both now strafed opposite of one another but drew in closer as they continued to size each other up. No words were exchanged, just hard stares from one another.

With a mighty yell, Raphael rushed forward— his sai poised and ready for battle. El Fuerte clapped his hands and raised them; palms open as he also then yelled out and ran towards the red masked mutant Turtle.

The next continuation of my Mirage TMNT storyline has finally been posted! After over two months of being stuck on where to take this storyline, the next match has been written and finally posted! Writing out the outcome of the last match between Donatello and Ramon was difficult, because the match ended in a draw and I can say that writing out draw outcomes straight up sucks because you have to take in a direction on where the two combatants came to such a conclusion and why that conclusion happened the way that it did. So it took me a while to figure out what to write as far as that out come was concerned, and it took a while for me to get my spirit to write out the next match. So hopefully, this match will be better received and have a decisive winner for this time around.

Anyway, the next match up was either going to involve Leonardo or Raphael, and I figured that everyone's favorite hot-headed Turtle had waited long enough after the two underdog Turtles, Michelangelo and Donatello had their matches come first. I like to try and rotate the Turtles, give each and every one of them time and attention rather than focus on one specific Turtle. So Raphael had his match set up, but there were two opponents left for him to fight-- and I had to choose between Angel and El Fuerte from Street Fighter fame. Now, El Fuerte is not an SNK character but a Capcom character, however-- Capcom is nonetheless associated with SNK if only because of the Capcom vs SNK series, not to mention SNK didn't really have another Mexican character for Team Mexico, so I opted for El Fuerte.

Anyway... I do hope that you do enjoy the match here and that this one won't end in another draw outcome. Seriously guys, draw matches straight up suck and are just too hard to write out and even crushing of a writer's incentive to want to keep on doing a long arc like this.

For new readers who are just hopping onto this storyline here, I suggest you look at the Mirage TMNT Respect Thread to see what the Mirage Turtles are more than capable of.

Raphael (Mirage ) is Low Tier Superhuman in terms of physicals. Think Above Peak Human due to his mutation and training.

Raphael (Mirage) possesses his Twin Sai, Shurikens, Exploding Shurikens, Smoke Bombs, and Kunai.

El Fuerte is in Peak Conditioning due to his training.

El Fuerte has his moveset from Super Street Fighter IV.

Nice to see another match in this arc. Very well written as always. I think El Fuerte is the weakest member on his team and out of his league against the turtles mvp this tournament, Raphael.

Thanks for commenting! And yeah, it took some time to write up this match for the arc on account of the draw matches which Donatello seems to find himself in!

Man I was just thinking about you the day before this match came up.

El Fuerte never impressed me (and apparently nobody else since he hasn't shown up an any future games) Raphael should dominate this with El Fuerte getting in a nick slam or two because it's his specialty.

Yeah! I needed to get back into the swing of things!

Good to see you back in the fold, Rakai. :) Great set-up with an intense fight between Donatello and Ramon. Also, clever move to use the pool and the electro-staff to enact the draw.

Heh, for once I don't have to do much research on a fighting game character for a match. :D I'm pretty familiar with El Fuerte and looking him up previously and reading various matches he's been in.

As for the match, while El Fuerte could initially trip up Raphael with his quickness (even more so if he uses and abuses the Habanero Dash), I think Raph is too experienced and brutal for this to be effective for long. Not to mention that Raph is no slouch in the agility department, either. I think Raph takes this after he gets wise to Fuerte's tricks.

Good to be back, DSkillz! Hopefully this one won't end up in another draw match... Cause draw outcomes SUCK!!

Awesome to know that you didn't have to research a character this time around, that really should make things easier for you to get a visual on how this match should go up. And I am so glad that you've been able to do that quite well. And thanks for the breakdown! I can see that happening!

Nice match, I give the setup a 5.0. Unsure who wins and I can't vote it.

Thank you.

You should look at the Mirage TMNT Respect Thread to get an idea on the level of power they have.
