Megastory 23.3 Previously: A demon worshipping Cardassian cult set out to revive the dark priest Mumm-Ra. Maya, the Yellow Lost Galaxy Power Ranger and some of her tribe set out to stop them. The Cardassians were embarrassed at how effective the locals were. But they were still successful. In a way. The original plan was to open the sarcophagus on planet but the resistance was so fierce that they had to remove the item, transporting it to the ship for later opening. Once done, the decrepent being opened his eyes after a few seconds. Dukat was the first thing he focused on. “Welcome back, Mumm-Ra. I am Dukat of Cardassia.” “How long has it been?” “A long time, dread one. You are aboard my ship, surrounded by a multitude of believers.” “My empire is fallen?” Mumm-Ra asked. “Decimated. But there remains a remnant. We Cardassians are new to you. And the dark spirits insisted on recovering you.” “What spirit do you serve?” “The Pah-Wraiths primarily. But I have been recently introduced to others.” With great effort Mumm-Ra stepped out of his sarcophagus. “I am too weak.” “I know. We have a safe haven for you to gather your strength. These men will show you to your room.” “No my sarcophagus does more than store my body. It preserves me. I will remain here.” “As you wish. We will be moving out as further resistance is on it’s way.” Their next stop was the world Dakara. This was the homeworld of the Jaffa- humans that worshipped the dark gods who powered Mumm-Ra. IN the days of his empire, Mumm-Ra used the Jaffa Warriors as a significant part of his army. After he was defeated, the Jaffa fell into civil war. Because of their fiece nature space fairing races left them to their squabbles. They seemed content fighting on their own planet and a number of races watched from a distance awaiting an opportunity to swoop in and flatter the victors for exploitation. The dark spirits warned Dukat not to go there without Mumm-Ra. Now that he had the demon priest in company, the Jaffa Warriors should fall in line. Transporting down to secure some ground and establish contact. Dukat decided to leave Mumm-Ra on the ship in his coffin until they needed him. As they were setting up a perimeter, a group of Jaffa came. They were armed with advanced spears and some of the Cardassians laughed. “Who are you? What are you doing here? One of them demanded. “We are Cardassians!” Dukat answered. “We come in the name of Mumm-Ra.” The Jaffa paused. “He calls you back to his service.” Dukat thought to expound. The stunned Jaffa exchanged nervous glances before they responded. “How do we know you are with Mumm-Ra?” “He is aboard our ship. Rejuvenating in his coffin.” The doubt was unhidden. Dukat called up to the ship. “They wish to see him.” Within moments, Mum-Ra beamed down. His withered body was so unimpressive that the Jaffa started to train their spears on him. Callously taking in the situation, Mumm-Ra started walking to a transport. “Take me to my temple.” One of the Jaffa questioned him. “How do we know that you are Mumm-Ra?” “You will see.” Mumm-Ra grumbled as he stepped onto the transport. The pyramid temple looked the part of ancient and menacing but it also fit the profile of abandon and unused. Mumm-Ra slowly walked to the entrance, the Jaffa watching with intensely. They knew all about the dark pyramid. The reason it was abandon and unused was because only a servant of the spirits of evil would enter. When the doors automatically opened the Jaffas’ mouths did the same. As Mum-Ra entered he called out to the Jaffa and the Cardassians. “Follow me.” The place was so filled with darkness that no living thing crawled around. Spell books and amulets and wands and orbs and still more magical objects lay about displays. The dark priest ventured to a chamber with a coffin similar to the one that was aboard the orbiting Cardassian ship. As they watched him set himself inside, Dukat received an emergency signal. “The Jaffa are attacking!” He looked at the Jaffa that were with him. Calmly, the Jaffa explained. “It is not us. There are some Jaffa who have rebelled against our ways. Claiming freedom from the dark path.” “You have a squadron of soldiers on guard?” “I do.” “Then they should be efficient to repel them. I would encourage you to terminate with extreme prejudice. No prisoners.” Smirking, Dukat nodded. “My kind of strategist.” Fight parameters: 25 Jaffa rebels are attacking the Black Pyramid. As far as voting goes, they must defeat the squadron of Cardassian soldiers. The Cardassians may be outnumbered but they embedded and ready for incursion. Mum-Ra, the loyal Jaffa, Dukat and any other Cardassians should not be considered in your voting.

Next batch of new characters making themselves known. The Ghoul is looking for his family and a girl named Abigail can answer some questions. He takes her but doesn't know what she is. Furthremore, word that the superhero Suprema is on patrol. Suprema is looking for a certain vampire girl but Ghoul won't give her up without a fight. Who wins?

Without her telepathy, Jean will have to work hard to beat Polaris. Thinking about it, I'm not so sure Jean can win this.

I say Carnage too. Interesting matchup though.

I never knew this fight happened. Rachael is a high potential person but I think she falls short in feats.

I don't think it was even hinted at either way. It was beyond the parameters of the story. As far as Azog's fight with Thorin I just couldn't get past this little dude killing this big Orc. Thanks for commenting.

Liking Starkiller for this. Won't be as easy as Galen expects but he's got the stuff to defeat Logan.

Forge is easy to underestimate. He has high tech but he also has some magic. Cable has so much to offer in a battle though. I just can't see him loosing this.

Megastory 31 Previously: After The Cabal resurrected Han, the city-state Fang offered it’s princess- Namaari for a wife to secure his favoring alliance. She helped him in the realm of dragons to bargain a dragon crystal from the dragon queen Tiamat. Being the wife of the Dragon Emperor had privileges beyond Namaari imagination. The tiny city state- Fang- prospered from the influx of Chinese economic power. As a reward for their recent journey to the land of dragons, her husband brought her a dragon. Her religion heavily involving dragon worship, Namaari was delighted. Furthering her blessing, she was sent to a people who trained dragons as their culture. A European colony in another world. Even in Fang she heard about superheroes of the west going to other worlds and even beyond. Namaari was astonished that her husband had such power that he could traverse beyond the Earth realm. The dragons here were different. More beastly than the ones Fang stories described. She was assigned an instructor named Astrid. Namaari found that she liked Astrid. Their passion for dragons bonded them. Also Astrid’s warrior heart made for some fun sparring. Nearing completion of her training, Namaari was startled with sounds of battle. Rushing to see, Namaari found hulking humanoids invading the area. They had already killed many. Those who still lived were already on the run. As she searched for Astrid, Namaari came across the body of Astrid’s husband Hiccup. He had assisted in her dragon training but beyond his expertise the two never really clicked. Worry took over as Namaari found more bodies of people she had interacted with. At last she found Astrid. He body was flooded with emotion and she fought recklessly. Powerful as her enemies were, they could not kill her, yet. Astrid saw Namaari coming and made a confession. “We’re no match for them!” “What about the dragons?” Asked Namaari. At that moment, Stormfly, swooped down and waited for Astrid to climb aboard. Astrid reached out for Namaari. “Come on. I have to get you back home!” “No! I’ll stay and help you fight!” “You want to help? Go home and tell your emperor husband to send his army!” Namaari joined Astrid on Stormfly’s back and they soared off. But they were not safe. The Orcs had catapults ready to take on aerial threats. Stormfly was hit but she endured enough to give his passengers a semi-soft landing. That landing took them to the temple where the dimensional spell could be cast to take Namaari back to Earth. But Astrid was so broken that she couldn’t even get off of her dragon. As Stormfly breathed her last breaths, Astrid cried. Feeling for her, Namaari waited a moment before beckoning her to come on. The Orcs were coming. Desparte, Namaari dragged Astrid off of the beast and shoved her onward. When Han dropped her off, he left the prepared spell so that his wife could return whenever she wanted. Constant encouragement kept Astrid moving but them the horrible reality was realized. The Orcs had already taken the temple. One stood alone in front of the tablet containing the spell. He seemed to be waiting for them. His eyes it up at with violent intent as he spied victims. The situation was clear. Namaari had to get past him to get home. Fight Parameters: Namaari must fight her way past the Azog the Defiler. Death or incapacitation will do.

Hmm don't know much about Vindicator. Always thought of her as simply female Guardian. Was surprised she wasn't already in the database. Have to look up what this sword is Vindicator has is all about. I might make me change my mind and lean toward Magik.

Yes. A very non obvious match. I think the same way Ken's skill and power was too much for Raf. Mickey's speed agility might be just what it takes to put Guile down. Plus the fact that the turtles are super strong so his blows are going to hurt Guile more than normal. Guile is a tough guy but he's going to get stunned real good in this fight.
