As the Group passed through the Portal between dimensions, something when wrong, dreadfully wrong...

 

It could only be described as some sort of Turbulence as they passed...

 

For they were shot out of the portal as though tossed bodily though it...

 

What they saw when they got up was something they had not anticipated...

 

That lush Forest with enherent beauty was not there, what replaced it was...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The World of Nosgoth was not how they had seen it... it was a Ghastly place, dark and brooding. An Omnipresent cloud was obscuring the sun for as far as the eye could see, if that even was sunlight. Though there wasn't much to actually see, for the ground had gone through some sort of catastrophic upheaval.

 

The Group found themselves at the bottom of one of such massive chasms...

 

As they look around they would hear the fauna of the land cry out... it sounded Batlike, followed by a gruesome cry of whatever was hunting those batlike creatures.

 

 

 

Oh and another thing... Raziel and Shruiken were missing....

Glaring around, Galen extended his senses out.....What happened to their guide?

"What the hell?" Adam says looking around. A quick head count revealed that the bonded two were gone. Sighing he spoke.

 

"...lets get a move on. Who knows whats out here."

"What the fudge?", Ben said, surprised by the sudden disappearance of Raziel. Heheard Adam's statement. "Agreed...", Ben promptly transforms into Ghostfreak. "Ah, I feel right at home in this form, heh."

Galen in the meantime would be extending his senses to discover what may be out there waiting for them.

Rev grunted as he didn't know what the big deal was all about. He was worried about Raziel , he added but he didn't feel scared at all.

As they scanned their surroundings, there would be the distinct feeling of being watched...

 

Galen on the other hand with senses reaching out would find echo's of death... like a reverberation of all the dead of the land crying out in pain. The Land was dead, and filled with the trappings of Death... but there was something in the air... a malevolent force watching... waiting... like a shark would, while circling it's pray...

 

Ben would more see what Galen felt. Specters and Ghosts, and things half seen in the mists of death. They floated about crying or yelling or cowering in fear... though above shapes glided about nearly unseen, though terrifying...

Clearly Someone was fighting Something further on down the way...

Stealthily, Galen rushed off in that direction, not even waiting for the rest so great was his drive to find her....

Ghostfreak/Ben was already on the move as he heard the noise and moved rapidly towards it.

Revenant took out his Musket , and followed after the group.

As they approached the sounds they saw explosions of fire and a greenish glow coming from a side chasm.

 

Coming to the side chasm they would see a ring of large of Green, caging several black snarling monsters.

 

Outside the circle there were more of those monsters fighting with people clad in leather and metal scraps, fighting with sharp wooden spears and claw type weapons against them... the Humans were clearly outnumbered and several were already dead and being fed upon by the black monsters.

 

Although several of the beasts would turn from their hunt, sniffing the air... The ones not fighting the Humans or imprisoned by them in that glowing circle, turned to the entrance of the chasm... and snarled...

At the entrance of the chasm, they would see a man in a black cloak and hood....Who had suddenly found an outlet for his rage as he dashed down the slope and activated twin lightsabers, flinging one to fly and impact in the forehead of one of them if successful and slashing the one in front of him even as he recalled the other.

"Boy are you guys ugly," Aang said as he charged an fire attack at one group of the monsters, blasting them away.

Ben/Ghostfreak arrives and sees the enemies. He then ponders a thought. "I wonder...", and with this being said, objects of considerable size levitated around him and flung themselves at the foes, making sure that the projectiles only hit their intended target and only threw them at those farthest away from the humans. "Could those be the fledglings Raz spoke of?"
