Iroh is the kind of person to teach you with his wisdom, not motivate a sports team. Rocky on the other hand is.

See, I don't know about this. Iroh's wise and serene and all that, but lowkey, if he was still around in the Korra era I could totally see him as a big fan/supporter of pro-bending teams, and willing to coach if asked. I don't think he would be above that.

Rocky motivated Donnie to defeat Drago Jr, a heavyweight boxer who just wanted his mommies attention. Iroh motivated Korra to defeat Unalaq, the Dark Avatar bent on merging with a God of Evil and conquer the whole world!

Rocky helped end the Cold War, Iroh helped end the Hundred Year War by mentoring key players like Aang and Zuko to let go of their insecurities and become the best versions of themselves.

Iroh wins!

Unlucky pull for Iroh. While he is great at giving wisdom and advice, he's not as good at motivational speeches to pump people up. Iroh is a great motivator, but he doesn't motivate through quick speeches that pump people up. He's much more about gentle, long-term advice that nudges people in the correct direction. It's tough, because Iroh is better at giving advice, is smarter, and has better long-term results, but in terms of just giving a pep talk to pump up a team for a big game, I would give it to Rocky
