On the opposite side of the impromptu arena, in the shadows a scrabbling noise would be heard before popping from a ceiling vent, a tall figure would land in a crouch upon the ground. Standing to his full seven-foot height as he looked around cautiously for his prey. He was hunting a Force User after all, and moving silently through the hall, he would remove from his belt certain items. Meant to assist him in this venture as he threw them to stick upon the wall as he walked....His mask, detecting air pressure changes for the slightest bit of movement.

Time to go on the hunt....

Starkiller enters the area, he sense a presence in the Force, he readys his duel lightsabers for combat and keeps vigilant.

As he padded his way softly he paused, sniffing the air at the scent of testosterone, indicating a male presence.

And thus alerted, he would place two of the items from his belt on the sides. One for low, and the other for higher, in case of jumps. And activating his plasmacaster with a hum, he stepped out of hiding and fired two plasma bursts from his shoulder cannon. Aimed for the head and upper abdomen of the other.

If either hit, then the result would be a veritable fireball of 6000 degrees of charged heated plasma, splashing out and incinerating on contact. Taking out the head, as well as the chest of Starkiller. If he was successful. And while he did that, he took a different item then the ones placed on the walls, dropping it at his feet as regardless whether or not the bolts hit, he turned and ran the way he came.

Starkiller senses the blasts coming through the force, he quickly deflects both back with his duel Lightsabres. The two blasts to flying back at Kainde hitting a near by wall, the force of the blast is powerful enough to knock Kainde down to the ground, while Starkiller remains uninjured due to his own quick reaction. Starkiller hears the thud and now attempts to use the force to send a large piece of stone flying at his foe in an attempt to crush him and at the same time sends a massive blast of force lightining that would easily cause a lot of Kainde's gear to short out and severely injury the Predator.

OOC: LOL. Gotta do better then that.

The deflection may have worked perhaps if the plasma attack in question was a tightly focused piece of energy. Perhaps similar to a blaster bolt. But like this, and with an occurring form which guaranteed splash damage, all the dual lightsabers would do was go through the blasts, and with no defenses in place...Hit their targets. The head and chest of the Force user exploding and incinerated. The heart area and a good portion of the left lungs gone and with a hole cauterized from the heat along with the neck....What was left of it anyway.

Or so it would happen, if no other defense was coming.

OOC:

Lightsabres reflect blaster fire all the time in Star Wars and blasters shots are plasma. I am assuming a Predator's blasters are similar to Star Wars ones.

OOC: Yes, but plasma caster fire isn't like blaster fire. Not in build, anyway. Blaster fire is more concentrated. Plasma caster fire is more loose, like a miniature sun.

OOC: This is why you don't assume. With a plasmacaster attack, a shot is more akin to a fireball then a tightly-controlled bolt like from a blaster. I mentioned as much in my post before. So with that, you may wanna think up some kind of plausible counter. Otherwise.... *Mimes a lost head and a hole in the upper abdomen*

OCC: I edited my attack.

OOC: Still iffy, but I'll allow you to have the counter, if only to extend this a bit more.

A pity he was distracted by the prior blasts, as during that time(as previously stated, the other would have already been gone. Having ran back in the hall as he played on his mask, recordings from his past hunts in an effort to mock the other. The attacks would have hit thin air from the stone to the lightning. Amazing what a good distraction could do.

And in the tunnel, Kainde would laugh. His mocking laughter carrying down the tunnel as he began to prepare his wrist computer for the next phase. The blasts was just to get his attention.

Time for the second phase.

And all of the sudden... the floor opened up, revealing murky water. Both could see a large shape heading towards them, one each. The first appeared jumping straight out of the water, shaking its wet fur with vigor.

This one would head towards Kainde, cat-like in movements.

And the other shape would appear climbing out of the water, its slick feathers practically throwing the water off of it.

This one would stalk towards Starkiller.

Both, as if on cue, would prowl towards their targets.

OCC: My bad at first.

Starkiller was unaffected by any of the sounds played by his foe, his training allowed him to stay focused, quickly using his force jump to rapidly move around, Starkiller then fired a massive barrage of Force Lightning at the Predator sensing its location with the Force, the blast moving at speeds that would be hard for anyone other then a force wielder to dodge. He also started to generate a force storm.

OCC: You did not dodge or counter so I am assuming my attacks hit, you left quit a window open there pal.

Watching as his onslaught hit at full force, Starkiller was unaffected by the sounds his training allowing him to stay focused. He quickly jump to another platform and fired at the downed and injured Predator with more Force Lightning while preparing to generate a massive Force Storm!

OOC: Twice I may add, if you actually read them VCM instead of rushing in. I'm giving you enough handicaps already, don't ruin it with your lack of attention.

OOC: Its ok.

Why anyone would want to rapidly jump around when nothing was around was a mystery, save perhaps for the fun of it. And while he would sense the other down the tunnel as he ran forward and blasted Force Lightning, he would generate two things.

The first would be the proximity mine Kainde planted earlier. Which upon the other coming within two feet of it, would explode. Sending out concussive sonic blasts, which at the range the other was at was enough to burst eardrums. As for the light itself, the flashes it caused would at worse cause epileptic shock as well as a nice addition to the sonic attack.

Unless the other was able to somehow avoid sound and light from a foot away, the result would blind him for the next item in store....As on the walls in the narrow tunnel, the laser nets would activate. If Starkiller was blinded and disoriented, the result would have him going through the net and sliced to bits. If he tried to use Force Speed to escape, the result would still activate and unable to stop in time in the small space, he would be essentially killing himself. More so, seeing how he tried to enter into the tunnel after him.

Still, the lightning was a minor problem and with his reflexes, he would merely side step and let his opponents attack arc past him harmlessly as he turned to look at the monster he was facing, his plasma caster up and activated....Before he retracted it in favor of his Smartdisc, and flinging it at the creature, the smartdisc would fly and zoom at the monsters throat.

The monster would duck low, evading the disc. However, it was smart enough to know that it came back. It would dash forwards, the skeletal front of his face snapping at Kainde.

He snarled as he stepped back from the bite, bringing his wrist blades out as he stepped back and aimed a punch with five tons of force behind it at the eye of the creature, guiding the smart disc back to him to slice unless it was countered into the right arm of the monster and back to his hand.

The monster would duck the smart disc and stop the punch by grabbing his wrist, and then would scamper behind Kainde, which would bring his arm behind his back if he didn't do anything.

"Suuuuurreeeeeendeeeeeeeerrrrr......" the creature said in a slurred voice.

The problem with trying something like that, was in keeping it down for an experienced fighter...And Kainde was anything but inexperienced. And as the creature grabbed his arm, he would turn as the monster did, his plasmacaster coming up and charging and as the creature spoke...Would fire, point-blank aimed for the throat.

Was that enough of an answer? And all the while, he would be keeping on full alert as well.

The creature would turn its head to the side and tuck it near its armpit. The shot would burn into his fur, but it wouldn't do much damage. He would turn back to Kainde, teeth bared. It would attempt to rip the plasma caster off its perch, rendering it unusable if successful. Then he would attempt to grab Kainde by the throat, where it would lift him up and attempt to crush the life out of him.

Wrong Move.

The instant it ducked its head in an attempt to protect itself, it would have took its eyes off the other....You NEVER do that.

And still holding the smartdisc in hand Kainde would move to slice the wrist of the other which was holding his arm. If it worked then he would backflip back and land in a crouch ten to fifteen feet away.

The monster would screech in pain. The smart disc had cut almost all the way through the arm, the monster's instinct to pull it away the only thing saving his hand. Now it was bleeding ichor, the blood of immortals. The monster growled, ripping off the hand and throwing it at Kainde. Already the hand was starting to reform. It was just a stump now, but it had already stopped bleeding. It would prowl towards Kainde, its lesson learned and its eyes never leaving him. It would bare its teeth, looking for Kainde to attack first.
