If we consider the fact that the Death Star beam is nothing but pure energy, Harry has a means of redirecting energy like that. So, given that, he could theoretically redirect it back at the death star.

Despite not having really seen the limits of Iron Man's Uru armor, if it's anything near the durability of Mjolnir (or however you spell it) then it can definitely tank the Death Star laser.

Actually the amount of energy Thor would be receiving from any supernova would be less then what he would from a fully charged superlaser by several orders of magnitude due to his size alone.
