Leonardo firmly gripped his sword in hand as he positioned the weapon forward, the sharpened tip facing his enemy. He stared intently at his opponent, knowing that if he didn’t take the victory than he might end up losing his life and one of his brothers would have to face this adversary and in turn risk potentially losing their own lives. That was something which Leonardo refused to abide and he would fight his hardest to ensure that didn’t happen. He strafed to his right, circling around the Yakuza enforcer as Yamazaki mirrored the Turtle’s movements. Leonardo just kept his stare on that sinister grin that remained on Yamazaki’s face, and when it had contorted to a sadistic snarl— Yamazaki pounced forward as he then snapped his right leg out for the mutant’s mid-section. Leonardo quickly side-stepped to his right, evading the incoming kick but Yamazaki turned to a spin and he leaned forward with his weight only to thrust his right arm forward and out as he took aim for Leonardo’s face. Leonardo quickly hunched underneath the incoming kick but Yamazaki snapped his left leg forward and out for the Turtle’s head. Widening his eyes and forced to raise his defense, Leonardo crossed both his arms out and took the brunt of the kick directly in his forearms. He couldn’t help but be surprised by the level of strength of his opponent as he was forced to drop onto his carapace and raised his sights to meet Yamazaki, who already seemed to be on the offense.

Yamazaki howled as he stuck his tongue out, expressing whatever pleasure he got from seeing Leonardo prone to attack as he then raised his right leg up and aimed to stomp down onto the Turtle’s naturally armored body, wanting to see the shell crack and break under his power. Leonardo threw his weight to the left, rolling out of the path of the man’s attack and felt a brief tremor as Yamazaki’s shoe hit the ground, causing the hard ceramic of the greenhouse floor to crack and shatter upon impact. Leonardo immediately then gripped his weapon in his right hand, and then swung it back across to the right diagonally as he took aim for Yamazaki’s chest. The Yakuza enforcer dashed back, barely managing to get out of the way of the sharpened tip of the blade, but this only brought enough time for Leonardo to flip back onto his feet as he regained his composure.

Yamazaki cackled as he attuned himself to the dark energy within himself, and directed it to flow through his entire body only to move the energy to his right arm. And when he felt that energy now coursing through, he lunged his right arm forward and out as he took aim for Leonardo’s mid-section. Leonardo widened his eyes as Yamazaki’s arm seemed to move at blinding speeds, barely perceptible to the Turtle. The red masked mutant Terrapin instinctively moved his arms down and turned his blade, using the weapon to attempt to deflect the incoming attack as Yamazaki executed his Serpent Slash technique. Sparks erupted when the attack landed onto Leonardo’s ninjaken sword, causing the mutant Red Ear Slider to buckle back from the force of the blow.

“You like that little trick, freak? Yeeeeeh heh heh heh hah hah hah hah ha!!”

The Orochi infused enforcer didn’t hesitate as he now rushed right in towards Leonardo. Quickly he pumped his right arm forward and out in a light uppercut, smacking Leonardo firmly in his jaw before he leaned forward and followed up by snapping his right leg down and out for the Turtle’s left leg in a low front kick. Yamazaki shifted with a step and he snapped his right leg down in the same manner as before, smacking the Turtle hard in the legs with his shoe. Leonardo buckled again as he briefly lost his footing and Yamazaki reached out with his right arm, now firmly grasping the Turtle by the neck only to then lunge his head forward and directly smashed it into the middle of Leonardo’s face, causing the Turtle to experience a momentary ringing in his head as Yamazaki then threw his arm forward, tossing Leonardo across and watched as the mutant reptile hit the nearest palm tree.

Leonardo hit the ground and he took a moment to process over what in the world had just happened as he shook his head from side to side, working to undo the disorientation he was going through. Already, Ryuji Yamazaki was pouncing for the Turtle, intending to literally drop in on him and wreak havoc— but Leonardo quickly rolled to his left and pushed himself to his feet. The Turtle then pushed himself back as he moved his left hand to his utility belt, and took hold of three shurikens as he distanced himself from Yamazaki, only to skillfully fling his hand forward and release the throwing stars at his opponent.

Yamazaki raised his brows as he saw this. He hadn’t expected his opponent to do something like that but he also had something of a surprise for the Turtle. Again, he attuned himself to the energy within and felt the darkness permeate through him, and the Yakuza enforcer then decided to remove his left hand from his pocket—and he swung his left arm up, an arc of crimson colored energy formed and engulfed the incoming shurikens, seemingly disintegrating them. Yamazaki then commanded the energy within to now push forward as he swung his left arm downward and back, unleashing a crescent wave of dark energy at Leonardo. A fitting demonstration of the power he held, as he performed his Double Return technique. Leonardo widened his eyes at this as he then stepped forward and now rushed right in towards Yamazaki, and then he dropped onto his plastron only to then pull his arms, legs and his head in as he slid right towards his opponent’s feet. Yamazaki suddenly felt a weight hitting against his feet and shins, and he found himself falling forward face down. Quickly, Leonardo popped his head and limbs out, now leaping to his feet once more as Yamazaki hit the ground hard on his back.

Timing his opponent in attempting to get up, Leonardo gripped his ninjaken in hand and he swung his weapon upward, slashing the blade diagonally to the right as he moved it up. A loud, fast whipping sound was heard followed by the noise of cloth ripping… and flesh being torn. A splash of crimson painted the hard ceramic floor of the greenhouse, and a few droplets even splashed onto the leaves of nearby plants. Yamazaki looked down and noticed a laceration on his chest, and he grinned in a masochistic display before he moved his right hand to his chest, dipping the tips of his fingers in his blood only to gently lick off the red fluid from his tips. Leonardo just furrowed his brows, blinking as he took a step back as he saw what was transpiring before him.

“Oh… Oooooh… Heh heh heh heh… Now you’ve done it… YEEEEH HEH HEH HEH HAH HAH HAH!!”

Yamazaki then rushed right in towards Leonardo, only to then swing his right arm horizontally across for a mighty hook punch, only to then swing it back across to the right in a back fist. Leonardo immediately leaned back from the first attempted punch, then hunched down beneath the incoming second attack. Yamazaki followed up by turning with his weight and he swung his right leg up and across in a roundhouse kick but the red masked Turtle quickly then had leaned back only to throw his weight back, then planted his hands onto the floor only to vault both legs upward and immediately slammed his feet directly into Yamazaki’s chin. The Yakuza enforcer felt a wash of pain moving through his jaw, and he could feel his teeth grinding against another only to have his lower teeth sink into the flesh of his upper lip. Iron soon moved through his taste buds as blood flowed into his mouth. Yamazaki just grinned and cackled wildly as his eyes widened, his pupils seemingly shrinking in size. If Yamazaki had been trying to intimidate Leonardo, the Turtle wasn’t going to allow this crazed man to get the better of him. The red masked leader poised his ninjaken, the sword facing forward as he gripped the handle with both hands.

Yamazaki focused on the dark energy within himself given from Orochi, directing it to flow through his body and moved it into his right arm. He would lash out with his arm, moving it up for Leonardo’s face, then his mid-section, and then his legs as he unleashed a succession of the Serpent Slash technique, trying to get at the red masked Turtle and inflict pain onto him.

Leonardo gripped his ninjaken firmly and he positioned the blade out in front of him, blocking the incoming strike for his face only to then swing it down and worked to deflect the strike moving for his mid-section. Leonardo then tensed up his leg muscles as he then pushed himself forward and up, evading the last strike for his legs. He immediately then snapped his right leg out as he took aim for Yamazaki’s chest. However, the Yakuza enforcer focused on the energy inside of himself, channeling it to flow through his body to better fortify himself and he tensed the muscles within his body. When Leonardo’s foot collided with his chest, a transparent burst of energy erupted from Yamazaki, and the Orochi infused enforcer leaned forward as Leonardo came down and directly slammed his head onto the Turtle’s plastron protected chest, causing Leonardo to drop and hit the ground quite harshly. Still holding onto the control over his own energy, Yamazaki then raised his right leg up, now swinging it down in an axe kick fashion and intended to slam his heel down onto the Turtle’s chest as he made use of his Sadomaso technique. Leonardo felt a strong impact slamming into him and he gasped in discomfort, only for Yamazaki to then begin stomping his right foot down onto his chest repeatedly as he was performing the Fight of Tempering technique.

“HEH HEH HEH HEH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!” Yamazaki laughed.

Yamazaki raised his right leg up, aiming to stomp on Leonardo’s chest once more for good measure but the red masked ninja moved his left hand down to his utility belt and took hold of what appeared to be a small and round pellet. He threw it upwards, aiming at Yamazaki’s face and the pellet would impact the man’s face hard and a brief eruption of fire blinded Yamazaki, creating a waft of smoke which expanded across a small area of the greenhouse. Leonardo quickly then had scrambled to his feet and he dashed to his left to get away from Yamazaki.

“GRAAAAAGH!! SHRRREAAAAAAGHH!” Yamazaki howled and screamed as he swatted and clawed away at the smoke around him, his face covered in soot and his sense of smell overwhelmed by sulfur.

Suddenly, Yamazaki felt something striking the right side of his face— and from what he was able to tell, it was a fist. He had been hit hard enough in the face many times to know what a punch would feel like in his career as an enforcer. Quickly, he turned to the direction from where the impact had come from and he snapped his left leg out in a front kick but ultimately found himself hitting nothing but air— however, something would firmly strike him between the legs and a wash of pain now moved through Yamazaki’s pelvic region. If he didn’t know better, it seemed as if he had been kneed right a sensitive spot. The Orochi infused Yakuza member lurched forward as he moved his right hand down to his groin area, only to realize that he had left himself completely vulnerable.

Suddenly, there was a bright shimmer moving upward and Yamazaki felt his chest being torn into by something sharp, something metallic and he was sent flying upwards now. The sound of metal being unsheathed entered into his ears, and he saw that there were two shimmers now spinning furiously and now coming in closer. Yamazaki found himself being caught in the spinning blades, trapped like a piece of meat caught in a blender as he could feel the skin on his arms, legs, mid-section being lacerated. When the smoke cleared, he caught sight of Leonardo holding onto both swords, and they were stained with his blood. Leonardo moved his arms back and he would swing both his ninjaken downward, slamming and lacerating Yamazaki’s chest once more and caused the Yakuza member to bounce off the hard ceramic floor, causing it to crack before Yamazaki was in the air once more. The Turtle turned with his weight, pushed himself with his feet to jump and he snapped his left leg back out only to firmly strike it hard onto the middle of his opponent’s back.

Yamazaki was now sent flying and he hit a nearby tree only to rebound from it and dropped down onto the ground. Pain moved through his very body as he now looked down at the wounds which he had sustained. A wave of anger overwhelmed Yamazaki’s already deranged mind and he grit his teeth as he placed his right hand onto the ground, pushing himself up to his full stature despite the wounds sustained.

“You… YOU…. YOOOOOUU FREAK!! YOU MADE ME BLEED!! YOU MADE ME BLEED MY OWN BLOOD!! I’M GOING TO RIP AND TEAR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS APART!! GYAAAAAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!” Yamazaki shouted.

Leonardo wouldn’t even so much as give Yamazaki the satisfaction of getting a response. Instead, the red masked mutant Turtle kept a strong expression on his face as he now prepared himself for Yamazaki to fly into a frenzy. And as expected, Yamazaki now rushed right in towards his opponent and was already focusing on the energy inside of himself— and  he quickly took off into the air, now swinging his right arm upwards as he intended to strike at Leoanrdo’s chin, intending to catch Leonardo with the beginning half of his Guillotine move. Leonardo dashed to his right, evading the incoming fist and he took aim for Yamazki’s mid-section and swung both his arms, now cleaving his blades across Yamazaki’s abdomen. A rush of red now erupted out from the Yakuza enforcer and he dropped feet first onto the ground as he missed his attack and widened his eyes in further pain.

The red masked ninja then moved in towards Yamazaki and he snapped his left leg out twice as he impacted his foot directly into Yamazaki’s solar plexus and then his face as he released two sidekicks. Leonardo then turned with his weight as he then swung his arms over from right to left, now batting his fists firmly into Yamazaki’s face before he turned in a spin and then pounced forward, only to swing his right and then his left leg across as he performed a leaping double crescent kick for his opponent’s face once more.

Yamazaki was forced to stumble to the side and he lost his footing only to trip. He hit the ground as he fell back onto the flower bedding behind him, and the Yakuza enforcer growled as he fought to get up.

Leonardo quickly rushed right in towards Yamazaki, turning in a spin and he would part his arms, slashing the two ninjaken apart from another in a scissors manner as he took aim for the enemy’s chest. Yamazaki stepped back away from the incoming blades, and widened his eyes in momentary fright from how fast and determined Leonardo was showing himself to be in this fight. The Yakuza enforcer leaned forward with his weight as he snapped his left leg out and then his right in two front snap kicks as he took aim for Leonardo’s chest. The Turtle responded by snapping his own legs out in the same manner, the bottom of his feet hitting Yamazaki’s own. Leonardo quickly then leaned forward and he swung his right arm across, bending his elbow out only to firmly strike it across Yamazaki’s jaw. Leonardo then spun the ninjaken in his left hand, only to grip the handle and hold the sword upside down and he thrust his left hand upward—batting the handle of his sword directly into Yamazaki’s throat. Suddenly being cut off from the air around him, Yamazaki gagged and coughed violently. His eyes widened and he couldn’t help but stumble back from the shock of it all. He moved his right hand up and clutched at his throat as he now was fighting to breathe.

Seeing an opportunity, Leonardo spun the ninjaken within his right hand and also gripped the handle to hold the weapon upside down. He turned with his hips and pumped his arms forward and out, firmly striking the blunt handles of the swords directly into Yamazaki’s solar plexus, causing the man to double over in pain. Then Leonardo would spin his ninjaken within his hands, and he held them proper—only to then slam the handles directly onto the back of Yamazaki’s neck, causing the man to fall forward but Leonardo thrust his left leg up, his knee bent down and he would firmly impact Yamazaki directly in the chest and followed up by slamming the handles of his swords onto the man’s back once more.

“YEAH, LEO! KICK HIS ASS!” Michelangelo shouted.

Yamazaki struggled to rise back up and he clenched his right hand into a fist only to lung forward and aimed to strike at Leonardo with a mighty straight punch. But the Turtle instead side-stepped over to the left and managed to evade the strike, only to respond by snapping his right leg diagonally upwards in a roundhouse kick and firmly smacked his foot onto the side of Yamazaki’s head. Leonardo then rushed forward and he leaned forward with his right shoulder out, now firmly impacting the Yakuza enforcer directly in his chest.

“UNNNGH!” Yamazaki grunted as he lost his footing, now stumbling towards the fountain in the middle of the greenhouse.

Unable to find proper footing, Yamazaki fell back and he splashed into the fountain. Leonardo immediately then rushed in after him and the red masked ninja then tensed up his leg muscles and he pushed himself to leap into the air. As Yamazaki pushed himself to rise, Leonardo then raised both his arms back and then swung both his blades down for the top of Yamazaki’s head--  but Leonardo them snapped both his legs down and out, now firmly striking Yamazaki in the chest and caused his opponent to splash down into the fountain once more. Leonardo them firmly planted his feet down onto Yamazaki’s chest, and worked to keep him pinned. He shifted his weight to his feet, aiming to ensure that his opponent would have a hard time in trying to remove him from his chest.

Yamazaki went bug eyed the moment he suddenly found himself underwater, now experiencing a tremendous discomfort as he felt his lungs being pushed, forcing him to lose the air which he had within and then he experienced the unpleasant rush of water moving through his nostrils and this caused his eyes to roll back. He shook his head from side to side, now screaming as bubbles now were leaving his mouth. He was forced to remove his left hand from his pocket, as he now was frantically moving his arms, violently thrashing about. Quickly, he took hold of the Turtle by the legs and threw him off to the side. Leonardo fell onto his right side, splashing into the fountain as he now turned his head to his opponent, watching as Yamazaki frantically and violently rose to his feet.

Focusing his energy to his apex, Yamazaki felt the power inside of him bursting. He now channeled this energy directly to his right arm and hand, and he took aim for the middle of the Turtle’s chest with the intent to punch his hand through it and tear Leoanrdo’s heart. He laughed maniacally as he now rushed right in for Leonardo and the Yakuza enforcer then thrust his arm outward with the intent to kill. However… Leonardo then threw his weight to his left, and he swung the ninjaken in his right hand upward as he took aim for Yamazaki’s wrist. Metal would make contact with skin, breaking it, then moving through bone and tendon… and Yamazaki widened his eyes in shock to see what had transpired and then his eyes rolled to the back of his head. The pain and shock was so great, that Yamazaki couldn’t help but pass out from it all.

Leonardo stared down to his opponent and counted down to ten. The match had been decided.

Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael cheered out as they raised their fists for their eldest sibling. Leonardo had turned and looked over to his brothers but then stared to the fallen form of Yamazaki. This man had threatened the lives of his brothers and Leonardo himself, and that was something which the Turtle couldn’t abide. And while Yamazaki and the other members of the Orochi team were still alive… they would learn a crucial lesson to never underestimate their opponents nor mess with the Turtles and disrespect them ever gain. With a victory secured, Leonardo turned and walked back over to his siblings…

This was just another step forward for the Turtles in becoming better ninja.

Hours had since passed from the last matches which the Turtles had participated in. Aside from Raphael who had taken the time to recover from his own injuries, the others had taken the time to cool off. As for the Hakkeshu and Yamazaki, it seemed as if the Turtles had not only defeated them but also allowed for Chizuru, Kyo and Iori to deal with them post-match… Whatever business both factions had against one another… the Turtles were going to stay out of that and were focused on only progressing with the tournament. After some much needed rest, a quick shower, and a good meal— the brothers were more than ready to participate in the next match.

Hopefully, they wouldn’t have to deal with any more villainous teams.

The next match had been announced and the location had been decided. Apparently, the next battle was going to be set on a cruise ship found at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. Having finally arrived at the terminal and escorted to the cruise ship which the match was said to be taking place at, the four Turtles were clearly surprised to see that it would be set in such a luxurious cruise ship like this. Michelangelo couldn’t help but grin and chuckle as he turned, spotting all of the beach benches surrounding the area, and in the middle was a swimming pool that had the most crystal clear water which he had ever seen.

“Damn, dude… I’m liking this choice for a fighting environment. Kind of reminds me of a fighting game. Now all we need is the trance techno music playing.” The wily Turtle grinned with more enthusiasm.

Leonardo looked all around himself as he turned, looking for any sign of the opposing team. When he had noticed four figures on the other side of the deck— he had raised his left hand and pointed to them before he nudged his head forward, gesturing for his brothers to follow.

“Hola, Tortugas Ninja! Aqui!” A feminine voice called out to them.

The four siblings looked ahead as they approached the other team, taking note of who had called them. It was a woman, sporting platinum colored hair which was styled to cover over one of her eyes and she wore a black leather jacket which was quite small, and wore a dark bra underneath. She also wore leggings which seemed to have been cut out and also had on a pair of what seemed to be large cowboy boots.

“Ven aqui, Tortugas Ninja! We’ve been waiting for you!”

The brothers looked over to the other members of the competing team—one of them was a large and muscular man, who appeared to be wearing an attire which could be described as a dinosaur motif. The man even had on a rather elaborate mask that happened to be that of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. He even had a tail and clawed gloves as well. But from what each of the brothers were able to tell, these were clearly nothing more than decorative. Another was a man who wore an eyepatch and had blonde hair, which was likely the result of him bleaching it, and he also had on a black form fitting shirt with green trims and green colored trousers. And the last one… was a smaller, but muscular man who had tanned skin, and wore silver leggings with boots, and he also sported a mask which only showed his eyes and his lips. Both teams approached one another, seeming sizing each other up.

“I’m guessing you’re our competition?” Leonardo asked.

“Si, mi amigo. We’ve gotta say… You guys got some mean moves, but we gotta take the win here!” The man with the eye patch said.

“If I didn’t know any better… I’m guessing you guys are Luchadores.” Michelangelo spoke.

“Si! Only the best from Mexico! And maybe after we have our match, we can get something to eat. Tortugas, te gusta la comida Mexicana?” The Luchador with the silver mask inquired.

The four siblings looked to one another and were briefly taken aback by the friendliness of the competition. If anything, it was something which they could say was welcoming. They couldn’t help but shrug and give something of wry smiles to the opposing team.

“Yeah, I could for something different.” Donatello spoke out with a warm smile.

“So who exactly are you guys?” Leonardo asked.

“Team Mexico! I’m Angel, the other guys with me are Ramon, Rey De Los Dinosaurios, and El Fuerte. He was kind of hard to get… Booking from another promotion was difficult to work out! So, are we ready?” Angel brightly grinned.

The Turtles nodded to one another and stepped away from the opposing team. Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael huddled in with one another to begin discussing as to who would go first.

“Alright, the last order was Raphael, then Michelangelo, Donatello and I was last to bat… So we gotta switch it up.” Leonardo stated.

“Actually… I wouldn’t mind going first!” Michelangelo grinned.

Raphael, Leonardo and Donatello looked over to the wily Turtle and recalled how he had faired against Yashiro. All three nodded and then patted Michelangelo on the back of his shell. Mikey couldn’t help but chuckle and grin as he moved his hands down to his belt and took hold of the twin nunchaku as he stepped forward to meet the competition. Looking over to the opposing team, Michelangelo nudged his head and raised his left hand.

“Rrrrrrgh! Grrrrrrggh!” The Tyrannosaurus Rex themed Luchador stepped forth.

“Whoah! I didn’t think I was gonna be fighting the King of the Dinosaurs! Neat!” Michelangelo chuckled.

The dinosaur themed wrestler flexed his muscles as he emulated the behavior of his namesake, and settled himself into his fighting posture as he held his hands open. Michelangelo then spun the nunchaku within his hands and he swung them vertically upwards and down, catching them underneath his arm pits. Both combatants would circle around one another. Michelangelo slowly nodded his head as he stared to his opponent.

“Dude, let’s make this a good one!”

“Grrrrrrgh!” King of Dinosaurs responded.

“I’m gonna guess and say that’s a ‘yes’ then! Alright! Ready or not… Here I come!” Michelangelo exclaimed.

Immediately, both the Turtle and the Luchador rushed in to another, beginning the clash of Ninjutsu and Lucha Libre.

And the Mirage TMNT storyline continues as the Turtles finally managed to defeat Team Orochi, and they fougth their hardest with flying colors- with the exception of Raphael having tied with Shermie of course. Writing out the recap regarding the match between Leonardo and Ryuji Yamazaki was a challenge in of itself because I hadn't expected the votes to be so one-sided in favor of Leonardo, but I suppose considering that his brothers were threatened... the kid gloves came off and Leonardo decided to more or less really treat Yamazaki quite harshly. So if anything, that's probably why I had it end he way that it did-- particularly with Leonardo leaving Yamazaki a handicap for the rest of his life, all to ensure that he doesn't go around harming or killing other people.

Anyway, I had to figure out where the Turtles were going to fight next and who they were going to fight as well-- and I figured why not have them go against one of the more friendlier teams in KOF, specifically Team Mexico. It was relatively easy to work with this team because they've been shown in the KOF games, albeit not always on the same team until KOF XIV where Angel, Ramon and King of Dinosaurs appeared-- but for this arc which I am writing, the challenge was finding who could be a fourth member for Team Mexico, and I figured... as something of a little nod to Capcom vs SNK, why not have a Capcom character join up and who better than El Fuerte from Street Fighter VI? Of course, he isn't going to be involved in this match currently but somewhere down the line. Also, given that the characters are Mexican, I did my best to pepper in some spanish into their dialogue-- and me being Latino, I tried my best to recall whatever Spanish I was taught, and use it to the best of my abilities on how these characters would talk.

So for this match up, I figured why not have Michelangelo go first and then put him up against one of the stronger characters from team Mexico, King of Dinosaurs. Michelangelo did so well against Yashiro, that I figured that he might as well end up participating first since I have been putting him and Donatello on the back burner, and usually put Leonardo and Raphael being first or second. I would consider this giving Raphael and Leonardo a bit of a break but other than that-- it kind of made sense for this match to come up the way and I'm curious to see how this actually turns out!

Remember-- ENVIRONMENT IS ALSO A FACTOR IN THIS BATTLE! Something I feel like people need to seriously consider.

For new readers who are just hopping onto this storyline here, I suggest you look at the Mirage TMNT Respect Thread to see what the Mirage Turtles are more than capable of.

Grapplers! This is one that the Turtles' strength will come into play. We think of them as strikers because it's more entertaining to watch but I remember in the old Mirage comics Raphael threw Leonardo through a wall when they were in one of their battle of wills. Given King of Dinosarus style, I can see Michealangelo doing some ninjistu type close quarter combat.

Yeah that is indeed true, it turned out to be a sparring session which went out of control from what I remember. Raphael and Leonardo got into a scuffle, and when Leonardo made a mistake-- Raphael capitalized on that and threw Leonardo out the side of a wooden barn they were staying at in Northampton.

Similarly, Michelangelo also did something of same to Raphael when the two were quite early in their career as vigilantes.

Yeah, Michelangelo is often depicted as being the most naturally talented of the Turtles!

Another great set-up, Rakai! Damn, not only did Leonardo leave Yamazaki pretty much a bloody mess, but he actually lopped the dude's hand off.  I guess that's what happens when you show a credible threat to Leo and his brothers.

As for the match, King of Dinosaurs is probably going to give Michelangelo a good fight, but in the end, I think Mikey's gonna be too quick and crafty for him.

Hmm, given the location, somebody's going into that pool at some point of these battles. Hopefully, no one actually ends up going overboard. :P

Yeah, I wanted to show how bad of a dude Yamazaki really is and I hope that came off well enough. I also wanted to show how brutal Leonardo can be if his family is ever threatened.

I wanted to make use of that map at some point and was partially inspired by that pool fight scene in the movie Lionheart.
