I've recently been watching a lot more anime and I'm actually ashamed of how little I knew back in the day beyond the must watch Shonen stuff. If anyone has anything they'd recommend, definitely let me know. 

 

Note: For the longest time, my only source of recommendations has been Landon's blog post on the top anime (which have always been great) but if anyone else has anything to say, I'm all ears

If anyone hasn't heard by now, Kentaro Miura, the man who made Berserk, passed away earlier this month. As of right now, the future of the manga is uncertain. Miura's work inspired much of fantasy as we know it today, and his influence truly can't be overstated, both in other manga and in the modern fantasy genre across all mediums. He is also, respectfully to other manga authors, head and shoulders the most talented mangaka I've ever had the pleasure of reading. If you haven't yet, I highly, highly recommend reading through Berserk. It's a tough read at time and it has a lot of difficult subjects so read at your own discretion, but without spoiling anything, even though the story isn't finished, the current state of the manga would be a fitting end if the story never gets continued
