Guest Soberguy
First concert I ever went to was David Byrne at the Opera House in Toronto. This would have been back in the late 80s. Amazing show by an incredible performer at a fantastic venue. Biggest concert I ever went to was easily Eden Music Fest, which was an incredible experience - especially as I didn't drink or do drugs at that point. We walked onto the grounds and literally 3 minutes later some guy was trying to sell us shrooms. Highlight moment - being 3 rows back from the stage with Tragically Hip playing and getting kicked really hard in the back of the head by a crowd surfer. Great music, great atmosphere. Best live shows I've ever been to have been Shonen Knife though, hands down. I've seen them I think four times now and every single time they blow me away. I know I'm a creepy SK fanboy but honestly, anyone who has only heard their recorded stuff absolutely must see them live - totally different experience. Plus their new bassist is bangably delicious. Schnee Corp Lawyer
First concert was the Barenaked Ladies New Years eve concert. Music was fantastic and they were damn funny, and there was a middle finger shaped cake
Guest silversurfer092
For Soberguy, I heard a Tragically Hip song on a Chicago radio station last night. The DJ is actually traveling to some place in Canada just to see Tragically Hip.
Guest Scar
First live concert I went to was when my parents dragged me to see Alan Jackson with them. I still suffer from PTSD to this day.

Guest silversurfer092
Faith No More are awesome. Mike Patton is some kind of god. Discuss. The song Epic can go kill itself, that is the only opinion I have. On further note, today, I plan on listening to every single studio album of The New Pornographers. 40/63rds of the way there and still enjoying it. PS: Florence + the Machine? AWESOME. I knew this, but re-discovered it today.
Helen C
The song Epic can go kill itself, that is the only opinion I have.Bleh, Epic isn't their best. The bass on it is awesome though, if simple. The bass in all of their songs is generally amazing. Better songs would be things like "From Out of Nowhere", "Jizzlobber", "Crack *uncreative*" and "Midlife Crisis". Guest God-Speed_88
The first concert I ever attended was Slipknot when I was 11 years old, with a bottle of Ice Dragon and 10 Mayfair, thinking I was the dogs bollocks.
Helen C
I have tickets to see Bob Dylan live. Everyone with music taste is now jealous. I'm also going to see Iron Maiden next week and Rammstein next year, but come on, they pale in comparison to Dylan.
