To that end in this round they put the winners from the Original 5 team against the winners of the Excalibur team.

This is a real one for sure. I'll have to buckle down and go over all the new stuff.

 I'm looking at team 1 but then I look at team 2 and doubt sets in.

Both groups seem pretty evenly matched so ultimately I think this will come down to experience and teamwork. Team 2 are a pretty efficient team but as 3 of the 5 OG X-Men I just think that Scott, Jean, and Bobby have more canon feats of overcoming the odds and winning when they need to. Voting Team 1

I'd have to guess Jean's superior experience with the Phoenix Force (at least to her daughter's) and Team 1's feats with team experience overall may win this.
