If they are separate though, I'd probably say Jessie though marginally. As Jessie seems to have the more grounded traits required to effectively help a child.

While both succeed, I think Buzz really hits the mark. He may have more adventures under his belt and is a super hero in children's eyes. Buzz, being from space, may also be familiar with finding his way with the alignment of the stars. He could use the night sky to help find the boy's home.

That's a decent argument, and since I really have no other ideas for this match, I go with Buzz.
