Yes, instead of terrains there will be a different graphic with a investigation type scenario.  Although, to be fair, many of them are more "Rainbow Six" than Dective and favor action skills like Rescuing a Hostage.

On this note, would it be acceptable to pick a character who's only profile is in a group (I.E. The Daleks, Cybermen, the Borg, the Xenomorphs, Velociraptors) and assume just one is in the battle?

for like someone with the xenos, They have a couple of select single characters.  For the others, Fox said he would prefer to have single characters from the beginning.  It may become confusing to have to explain every time.

All out baby.  The Big Gun.  The only things that are going to be illegial in this category are cosmic level force of nature entities like Galactus, Q (Star Trek), The Living Tribunal, The Phoenix Force, etc.

That match is inevitable, as is the pissing contest that will surely come with it. Hopefully, we can keep the bloodshed to a minimum.

Season One is done and three players went 5 and 0 - winning all their matches:

I have looked over their teams just now and they look well rounded.  There is no One character that is going to carry a team to the top.  It is a team effort.

As to the next season all set. A few moves here and there but I think I've covered the bases this time. I even have arguments set up to discuss the comedy choice/s depending on whom I manage to get.
