Spider-Man 2099 glanced around the rooftop he was standing on warily. This was New York, but it wasn't his New York. He'd somehow been transported back in time a good 80 years.

Ultimate Lizard growled ferally from an alley, clinging to the wall via digging his claws into the bricks and mortars. He wasn't threatening him... yet.

"Whoa!", Spidey yelled, diving and barrell-rolling to evade the Lizard. "The heck're you?"

The Lizard would answer with a well-placed bite, attempting to take a bit out of Spidey's arm.

As the Lizard moved closer in an attempt to bite him ((barrell-roll would've put a bit of distance between them)), Spider-Man would attempt to knock him back with a full-force punch to the face.

 

"Not one for talking, huh? That's what I hate about you giant reptilian types. It's always 'bite bite bite', or 'kill kill kill'. Would it kill you to engage in some witty and hilarious banter once in a while?"

As the Lizard moved closer in an attempt to bite him (barrell-roll would've put a bit of distance between them)), Spider-Man would attempt to knock him back with a full-force punch to the face.

The punch would be caught, and the scientist inside ushered him to throw the Spider-man, which the reptilian body obeyed.

Spider-Man's constantly perfect equilibrium allowed him to land on his feet. He would then attempt to toss the Lizard off the building via webbing.

The Lizard would grab the webbing and pull back, his superior strength and larger mass almost certain to lift Spider-man off his feet, and into another building.

To avoid being yanked off his feet, Spider-Man simply let go of the webbing.

The Lizard used the webbing and whipped the two strands at Spider-man, the force behind both makeshift whips easily enough to rend Spidey limb-from-limb.

Spider-Man would web-zip backwards several meters to avoid the 'whips'.

The Lizard continued with the whips, walking forwards on two legs closer to Peter.

Miguel would attempt to yank the Lizard's legs out from underneath him before he came within the whips' striking zone. If successful, Spider-Man would then attempt to bind the Lizard to the ground with webbing, aiming to completely cocoon him. If successful, the Lizard would be unable to move so much as an inch in any direction.

The Lizard jumped over the webs and swung forwards with the whips, using them as Spidey would to swing himself forwards towards Miguel in an undefinable random pattern that would be near impossible to hit the Lizard with. When he was at the end of his webs, the Lizard would pounce for Peter.

Miguel was smart enough to know that engaging a giant Lizard creature in hand-to-hand was a bad idea. The moment the Lizard started swinging towards him, he would web-zip to another, higher rooftop.

 

"Come and get me, you overgrown turtle..." he yelled.

The Lizard would follow extremely quickly, sniffing out Spider-man and attacking.

The moment the Lizard was in range, Spider-Man would begin firing web-balls at him. If one of these balls were to hit its mark, the Lizard's momentum would be hindered, hopefully causing him to fall to his death.
