Is Cthulhu's job to sleep in R'lyeh, or to be a High Priest of the Great Old Ones? Either way, I don't think Wintergreen would do a great job. At the same time, I don't think Cthulhu would be good at anything else, really. Kind of a wash, this one. I'm open to arguments for either side

Wintergreen would struggle in Cthulhu's role, but Cthulhu would struggle perhaps a bit more, as his appearance and mannerisms would likely scare away all the other elves in Santa's workshop, ceasing production.

Both are non-Humans, both are super powered beings that are larger than life, but neither one would be the perfect fit.

Going out on a limb though, I guess Wintergreen would stand a slightly better chance than Cthulhu would in this case, if only because of his comparison to Wolverine.

Now, while I can not say for sure if Wolverine would fair all that well with R'lyeh, from some perspectives, I believe he could put himself into that position if he had to.

Likewise, if Wintergreen is as true as a parody can be to the real Wolverine, then maybe he would be able to manage the switch somehow better than Cthulhu would.
