It is late at night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or the Met for short, in New York City. Normally, the only regulars here at this time are the security guards, but on this night, some unusual visitors are en route to the famed institute. Several parties are converging upon the museum to seek out the fabled Sword of Tengu, each for their own reasons. The sword had recently been recovered from the Oroku Saki Tower, found while repairs were being made to its top floor after a mysterious explosion. After an investigation by the authorities, it has been returned to its previous resting place for all to see and study.

At this moment, four colorfully masked bipedal turtles nimbly move from high-rise rooftop to rooftop under the moonlight of Manhattan on their way to the museum. The Ninja Turtles have been there before, having snuck in some time ago having tried and failed to prevent the Sword of Tengu's theft by the Foot Clan. Now, the mutated brothers are returning to retrieve the sword before the Foot can reclaim it.

"I still can't believe the sword held up!" says Michelangelo as the Turtles vault to the next rooftop. "I thought it would've totally been wrecked in that explosion Donnie started at Shred-Head's base."

"Yeah, we all did, Mikey," Raphael chimes in, somersaulting over a small chimney. "What do ya think happened, Donnie?"

"Hard to say. With as much power as the sword put out at Foot Headquarters along with its power grid, it really should have been destroyed," Donatello replies, hurtling over a vent. "I guess this just proves that sometimes the Foot build their weapons to last."

"Let's just find it and get it out of there before the Foot arrive, guys" says a wary Leonardo, stoic as ever as he forward flips over a cooling unit. "We don't want them to regain any power now that the Shredder is out of the picture."

"I wish those clowns would show up again!" says Raphael, remembering all too well their embarrassing defeat at the Foot's hands the last time they fought at the Met. "I was hoping we'd get to bust some heads tonight!"

"We might know if they show up soon enough," Donnie says as the Turtles reach the edge of a roof overlooking eastern Central Park, with the Met in sight below. "Here we are."

With that, the Turtles quickly make their way down and to the museum's roof. In their haste, they do not notice another party also moving in near the entrance.

"No sign of the Foot so far," notes Leo as he and his brothers head toward the same glass roof window from which they entered the building the last time. "We just need to get past the security and grab the sword before anyone notices. I just hope this goes better than the last time we were here."

"Aw, don't worry about it, Leo. We're a much better team now, especially with me, the ninja master, here to save the day," gloats Michelangelo with a grin, inciting a collective groan from his brothers as he stands in mock triumph near the edge of the roof with his hands on his hips.

Raphael walks over to, as usual, slap the back of his little brother's head for his foolishness, but just as Mikey looks down, he sees a group of people down below, with one man in a light blue sleeved shirt turning around and looking up right back at him.

"Uh oh!" the orange-masked turtle gasps, his smile disappearing.

"Just like you let that tourist see you? Yeah, reeeal ninja-like," snarks Raph to Michelangelo as he also sees the man. The remark elicits a frown on the latter's face as they hurry toward the window.

"Yeah, way to go, Mikey. Now we have to be extra careful," remarks Donatello. "They've probably calling the police."

"Sorry, guys. I totally lost my head," replies Michelangelo. "We left before we finished our pizzas, and now I'm reeeally hun -- "

"C'mon, we gotta move!" interrupts Leonardo. The four brothers then hustle through the now-open window.

<------------------->

After finishing dinner, famed archaeologist Jackie Chan, his Uncle, his niece Jade, and their ally Tohru arrive at at the Met's entrance. Having received word of the Sword's return to the museum as well as its terrible power, Jackie and the others decide to take a trip to New York City from their hometown of San Francisco to not only study it, but also to guard it from some familiar foes. They have already visited the Met during normal business hours as guests, and they were able to learn more tales regarding the blade and, in Uncle's case, roughly gauge its power. Now, after some preparations, the four of them are ready to defend the artifact at all costs.

"We've come back just in time," says Jackie in a Cantonese accent. "It appears the Shadowkhan haven't arrived yet."

"They will surely be here soon," warns Uncle, his Cantonese accent even thicker. "The sword's power would be deadly in their hands."

"We mustn't let them take it!" says Tohru with an unusual tone of urgency. "I grew up hearing the legends of how the sword was used to ravage Japan in the name of the Shredder!"

"We won't, Tohru," Jackie says to reassure his colleague. "That is why we came all the way to New York once we heard it had been recovered."

"That's right!" says Jade. "Those goons won't get it while we're around!"

Good thing I called for back-up, the girl then thinks to herself.

As if on cue, El Toro Fuerte, the red-masked luchador, and his young apprentice, Paco, arrive to greet the group.

"¡Buenos Noches, Yade!" Paco says, pronouncing the name of Jackie's niece, as usual, in his native Mexican accent.

"Paco! El Toro!" says Jade excitedly. "You're just in time!"

"What are you guys doing here?" asks Jackie.

"We are in town for a lucha libre event," replies El Toro, also in a Mexican accent. "I had just finished my match when we received Jade's call."

"Jade ... " Jackie says in a stern tone.

"Tch, it's the Shadowkhan," Jade responds with a roll of her eyes. "I figured we might need as much help as we can get. Besides, that Shredder guy might show up, too."

"The Shredder? What? That's crazy! Jade, you're crazy!" Jackie scoffs. "We don't even know if he is alive. He hasn't been seen for decades!"

"We face demons and ninjas all the time. You never know," says Jade. "By the way, I called Viper, too, so the J-Team will be complete once again!"

"Oh, great, the 'super thief'," Jackie says sarcastically. "Now we have to worry about someone else taking the sword."

"Jackie," groans Jade in an annoyed tone. "She doesn't steal anymore, and you know it."

"Don't worry, Mouse Ma -- uh, señor Yackie," Paco chimes in, stopping himself before calling Jackie by the unflattering nickname he gave him. "With El Toro here, nothing can stop us. He is the greatest!"

"Uh-uh, Jackie's the greatest!" Jade argues.

"No! It's El Toro!" Paco shoots back.

"Jackie!"

"El Toro!"

"Jackie!"

"El Toro!"

"Jackie!"

"El Toro!"

Jackie shakes his head and turns away from the children out of exasperation. As he does, he sees some movement on the museum's roof out of the corner of his eye. As he walks over to get a better look, he sees a silhouette standing near the edge, then scurrying out of sight.

"They're here!" Jackie gasps quietly, gesturing for the kids' silence. "We need to get in there!"

"C'mon, J-Team!" exclaims Jade in her usual exuberance. "Let's go kick some Shadowkhan -- "

"No, Jade!" Jackie interrupts. "Let the grown-ups handle this!"

"But Jackie ...,"

"Too dangerous! Stay here with Uncle and Paco!"

"Awwww ...," Jade and Paco simultaneously moan.

"Jackie is right," El Toro says. "You kids will only get in trouble and slow us down."

"Besides, you two must help Uncle prepare chi spell for Shadowkhan and sword," declares Uncle. "One more thing!" he then says to the adults.

"Yes, Uncle?" asks Jackie.

"Remember, do not try to grab Sword of Tengu! It is too powerful for most to handle."

"That is right, Uncle," agrees Tohru. "It is said that only a master of ninjutsu can wield it."

"We will be careful," says Jackie. "We'll just have to reach it first and fight the Shadowkhan off, then."

And with that, Jackie, Tohru, and El Toro approach the museum at different areas to try to head off the intruders. Jackie sneaks in through a window while Tohru and El Toro each try to get in through the front door and a side entrance.

<------------------->

Meanwhile, the Turtles sneak as quickly and stealthily as possible through the dimly-lit building, scurrying from shadow to shadow to avoid being seen by the cameras and security. Being familiar with the place from their last visit, they head directly for the spot where they fought the Foot.

"There it is!" Leonardo declares in whispers.

Sure enough, the Sword of Tengu rests before them, in the same large foyer and in exactly the same display case it was stolen from.

The four brothers head for the case, only to be intercepted by another figure: the same man Michelangelo and Raphael saw outside moments earlier.

Having been to the Met several times, Jackie is also familiar with the building, so he has stealthily made his way to the display as well. Just as he approaches, he is met by the four shorter, masked reptilian figures and jumps slightly at the sight of them.

<------------------->

"The tourist? How'd he get in here?" Raphael asks.

"Maybe he got lost on the way to Midtown?" Michelangelo quips.

"You ... do not look like the Shadowkhan," says a startled Jackie.

"Shadow-who?" Donatello asks.

"Dark warrior spirits from the Shadow Realm," Jackie replies while looking sternly at the brothers. "You may not look like Shadowkhan, but you do wear masks and wield similar weapons to them."

"We don't know of any 'Shadowkhan', but we need to take the Sword of Tengu from here before this clan of ninja called the Foot arrives," says Leonardo. "The fate of the city depends on it."

"You know of the Sword of Tengu?" Jackie says, briefly widening his eyes before returning to a stern look, his suspicions aroused as he gets into a fighting stance. "I can't let you take it from here. As an ancient artifact, it belongs in this museum, and not with thieves!"

"We don't got time for this!" Raph snarls as he steps up and reaches for Jackie's collar. "Get out of the way, or we -- "

Before the red-masked turtle can finish, Jackie grabs his forearms, falls back, and somersault throws him a few yards away onto his shell. As Jackie stands, he is struck by a flying kick from Leonardo in response, sending the man careening backwards into a samurai armor display and toppling it.

"Hey! Nobody clowns Raph but us!" Mikey says as he charges a groaning and downed Jackie, nunchucks twirling. Donnie pulls out his bo staff and follows in close pursuit.

"Thanks, I think," Raph sarcastically groans as he starts to stand.

"You okay, Raph?" Leo asks as he approaches his red-masked brother.

"I won't be until we knock this tourist all the way to Staten Island!" Raph replies. The hot-blooded turtle then charges back into action, with Leo smirking as he follows closely behind.

As Jackie slowly stands up, he has a look of worry when he sees Mikey and Donnie coming his way. Almost out of reflex, he grabs the samurai helmet and throws it their way, with Donatello blocking the oncoming object by holding his bo in front of him. Jackie is then forced to dodge several attacks from the two, running around the sword display in the process. A thrust to the gut from the end of Donatello's bo knocks Jackie near a rotating mirror display. Briefly holding his stomach, the archaeologist runs around the mirror as Mikey approaches and swings it upward, catching the young turtle on the chin and knocking him back.

Donatello comes at Jackie and swings his staff at the man's head to the right and then to the left. Jackie ducks under both blows, the second striking the mirror and knocking it off its base. Extending further, Donnie immediately swings his weapon lower and left, hitting Jackie on his side and knocking him away from the mirror base to the floor.

Jackie sees the large mirror near him and quickly log rolls toward it, grabbing it while in motion. He stops on his back and throws the broken mirror at Donatello. Donnie quickly swats it away with his bo, but that gives Jackie an opening to hop toward the staff-armed turtle and thrust both of his feet forward to kick him away. Jackie stands up again only to be shoulder-butted back to the floor by a charging Raphael.

Jackie gets up and back into a fighting stance, but then sees Leonardo and Michelangelo joining Raphael, all drawing their weapons as they approach him.

"Now you're gonna get it, pal!" the red-masked turtle fumes.

Not liking the odds head-to-head, Jackie opts to run from the turtles, scurrying up a nearby staircase to the upper floor. The three turtles follow in hot pursuit of their opponent. Having recently stood up, a lagging Donnie opts to run through the foyer to cut the archaeologist off.

As Jackie continues down an upper floor hallway, he briefly looks back and sees the brothers hot on his heels. He looks forward fearfully, then sees a chair in front of him. He reaches the chair and tosses it back, tripping up and knocking down a leading Raphael. Leonardo hops clear over both Raph and the chair hits Jackie with another flying kick.

Jackie skids into a backless bench, and Michelangelo is upon him with nunchucks twirling. Leo flips over to the other side of the bench with twin katanas in hand, and Raph charges in, holding his sais tucked inward with the handles sticking out between his fingers.

The three turtles then attack, and the surrounded Jackie nimbly weaves and rolls all around the bench, evading various blows from weapons, fists, and feet as the turtles also maneuver around it. Jackie rolls on the bench seat and lands a snap kick to Leo's face while painfully blocking a strike from Mikey's nunchuck with his forearm. Jackie winces from Mikey's strike right before Raph hits his forehead with his sai handle, followed by a whipping blow to the stomach from Mikey's nunchuck.

The archaeologist falls to the floor groaning, but quickly rolls under the bench and kicks it upward with both legs at the startled turtles, hitting both Mikey and Raph with it and making Leo backpedal. He then leg sweeps an off-balance Leo and starts to run off.

Jackie doesn't get far before he is tripped by a returning Donatello's staff, falling near the railing overlooking the foyer. Jackie looks up and sees the purple-masked mutant near him, then looks over to see a recovered Leonardo coming his way, followed by Michelangelo and a growling Raphael after they toss the bench aside, all shooting determined glares at the man.

"Bad day, bad day, bad day!" Jackie exclaims as he gets up and hurtles over the railing, landing on a drawer below and hopping back onto the foyer floor.

"This guy's good," Donnie acknowledges as they briefly watch Jackie down below.

"We've fought better," Leo says. "C'mon, guys! He's headed for the sword!"

Jackie runs on, hoping to somehow outmaneuver the young ninjas, but as he nears the sword's display case, several shuriken whirl past him and into the case's wooden frame, stopping him in his tracks.

"The sword is coming with us!" Leo yells out sternly.

Leonardo and Donatello hop down to the foyer after Jackie, but as Raphael and Michelangelo start to follow, Raph is tackled and Mikey is bowled over by a large man in a red luchador mask. The orange-masked turtle stumbles and falls over the railing, crashing onto and breaking some vases in the foyer below.

El Toro picks up a grounded Raphael and hoists him over his shoulders to prepare for a Samoan slam. Raph, however, wriggles free and tries to put the wrestler in a choke hold while riding piggyback.

"You're not pullin' that Mucha Lucha crap on me!" Raph states as the two struggle and stumble around.

Meanwhile, Michelangelo shakes his head while recovering from his fall. He then looks up and sees Leonardo and Donatello fighting a spear-wielding Jackie. Mikey gets up to join his brothers, but as he gets into a fighting stance, his back foot bumps into someone standing right behind him. The orange-masked turtle turns his head to see a much larger, heavyset man facing him.

"Whoa, who invited E. Honda?" Mikey quips as he shifts his stance to face Tohru.

Tohru merely grunts, then lunges at Michelangelo, but the young ninja hops away from his grasp. Mikey whirls around and behind the larger man and delivers a kick to his side, to no visible effect. Tohru then grabs the shocked turtle and lifts him up by the shoulders.

"Um, guys? A little help here?" Mikey yelps right before Tohru tosses him.

At that moment, a security guard emerges from another room and runs to the top of the foyer steps to investigate the raucous. Shocked at the sight of Jackie, Leo, and Donnie fighting, he doesn't notice El Toro stumbling his way with Raph on his back until the last moment. The guard can only gasp before the three of them collide and tumble down the steps.

After blocking several weapon strikes, Jackie is knocked back by simultaneous punches to the face from Leo and Donnie. The two turtles move toward the archaeologist when a hollering Mikey suddenly flies and skids their way.

"I am with you, Jackie," says Tohru to his friend with a smirk.

Leo, Donnie, and Jackie shift their sights between Mikey and Tohru, but all are interrupted by Raph, El Toro, and the security guard tumbling down the steps. The latter three roll all the way and crash into the sword display case, wrecking it and knocking over the blade and its stand.

Raphael and El Toro groan and shake their heads before getting up and off each other and the now-unconscious guard, then brush off the wood and glass debris and join their respective teams in a face-off. Both sides exchange glares, both determined as ever to deal with the Sword in their own ways, when the tension is broken by someone speaking out ...

<------------------->

"C'mon, Jackie! You're not gonna just let these demons take the sword, are you?"

"That's right, Ja -- JADE! What are you doing here?" Jackie responds, yelling out his niece's name in shock with her sudden appearance behind him.

"You did say stay with Uncle," Jade replies, just as Uncle walks in with his dried puffer fish in hand, glowing with chi energy.

"Demons?" Donatello says quizzically.

"The special chi spell is now complete," declares Uncle. "We can deal with sword and demons in one fell swoop!"

"Be careful, Uncle," Jackie warns. "They are tougher than th -- "

Jackie is cut off by a familiar and painful two-fingered rap upside his head from Uncle.

"Magic must defeat magic!" Uncle reprimands his nephew as he approaches the Turtles.

"What are they babblin' about?" Raphael asks to his equally confused brothers. "We're not d -- "

The hot-headed turtle's attention is diverted when Uncle holds his puffer fish out in front of the perplexed Turtles and chants his demon-expelling mantra.

"Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao! Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao!"

"Get that thing out of my face, old man!" shouts Raphael after a few moments of this, swatting Uncle's fish away with a swing of his sai as his does so, immediately eliciting a startled "Aiiee-yaaaahh!" from the elder man.

"You want a piece of Unclllleee!" Uncle angrily exclaims as he steps up to the brothers, with Jackie holding him back.

"Bring it on, Grandpa!" Raph taunts back. He stops when Leonardo puts a hand on his shoulder.

As things unfold, the sword is lassoed from above by a thin rope and hauled toward the ceiling.

"Look, we're not demons," the blue-masked leader of the Turtles calmly states. "Trust us when we say the sword isn't safe here."

"I am aware of that, but we cannot just whisk it away from the museum," Jackie responds. "It's public prope -- "

"Hey! Bring that back" Donnie cries out while looking up, interrupting the discussion. The others look up to see a lithe, long-haired woman dressed in black pulling up the weapon.

"Viper!" Jade shouts excitedly, immediately recognizing the ex-thief.

"Hey, Jade!" Viper responds. "Looks like I got here right on time!"

"Viper, this is no time for one of your heists!" Jackie yells out.

"I'm not stealing the sword, I'm saving it!" Viper shoots back as the sword comes within her reach.

"Do not touch it!" Tohru exclaims.

His warning, however, comes too late. Viper receives a nasty shock the moment she touches the blade's handle, making her reflexively drop the weapon back down to the foyer floor.

"We're being lectured about stealing, but they work with a thief?" Donnie asks as Viper slides down the rope to the floor.

"Ex-thief," Viper corrects as she nimbly lands, holding her shocked hand afterward. "You all were making such a fuss, it's a good thing I cut the security feed a few minutes ago."

"'Ex-thief', right," Raph snarks, causing Viper to glare his way.

"Ooohh, Uncle feels the willies!" Uncle suddenly declares while shuddering.

"Umm, what does he mean by that?" Mikey wonders.

"Trouble," Tohru answers with a glare.

Both groups then see Paco running toward them, almost out of breath.

"Paco! I thought we told you to stay outside!" El Toro says to his apprentice.

"I am sorry, El Toro, but I had to get away!" Paco replies while panting. "Both the Shadowkhan and some other ninjas showed up, and then they started fighting!"

"The Foot!" Leo exclaims. "That's it, fellas! We need to get the sword before -- "

Just as he looks toward the blade, it is yanked away by the still-attached rope.

"Not so fast," says Viper with a smirk as she pulls the rope. "Like Jackie said, the sword's staying here."

The rope is then suddenly severed by a shuriken thrown by Raphael.

"Nice try, lady," says Raph with a smirk of his own.

The two teams then square off once again, with the Sword of Tengu lying between them.

Heh, my first match in over a year, and my longest yet. :D I believe this now makes eleven entries in the Challenge.

Anyways, here's the rundown: Both the Turtles from the 2003 show and the J-Team from Jackie Chan Adventures are after the Sword of Tengu, a powerful blade used by the Foot:

image.png

The Turtles want to take the sword to their lair to keep it from the Foot, while the J-Team wants to keep it safe from the Shadowkhan until they themselves can deal with it later. Just to be clear, these are the Turtles as they were shortly before the City at War arc, (so they haven't been through the Battle Nexus, Ninja Tribunal, etc., and Shredder hasn't returned) and the J-Team don't have the Talismans, Oni Masks, or any other power-ups.

The Turtles have their ninjutsu skill and weapons, while the J-Team is quite skilled as well. Jackie is well, Jackie; El Toro has his wrestling skill and muscle; Tohru knows sumo and is probably as strong as Hun, and Viper is very agile and skilled in hapkido and Krav Maga and is a former master thief. Jade and Uncle may also get involved in the struggle.

Just as a reminder, only a ninja master can hold the sword without getting a serious shock, so someone would either need a specialized gauntlet to grab it (which Leonardo has on him), or otherwise get creative. Also, both the Shadowkhan and Foot Clan are nearby and have intel on the sword and its capabilities, so they will get into the mix and confuse things even further.

Here are the Turtles and Splinter in action regarding the Sword:

And here is the J-Team against the Talisman-wielding Dark Hand:

Enjoy!

Amazing matchup! I do believe that the turtles unfortunately have this due to being just as skilled as Jackie's Team, while being on average more powerful physically. Being a mutant comes with perks, and as it stands I don't think many of the members on Jackie's team can hang with any one of the turtles for too long.

Hello.

So It has a good length and lots of dialogue.  A lot of people (myself included) have a problem with dialogue, but yours is good, realistic; there might be too much of it, but the dialogue itself is solid. Writing is good too, I didn't notice much grammar problems.  I know of these characters and I think I used to watch a newer version of the Jackie chan show, but based on the write up their reason for fighting seems logical and believable.    I like that, even if I didn't know anything about the characters, you provided enough details that I know who they are, what group they fight, why they want the sword, and even showed them all fighting to give me an idea of their capabilities.

However, I'm sorry but there's way too many characters.  The turtles are four alone, and then Jackie has what feels like ten people on his side.  I think there was initially four, then two more show up, and then the lady at the end, which would equal seven, so not ten but it felt like it.  I felt flooded with characters, flooded with too much dialogue from too many people.  It was very difficult to keep track of who was who.  Some of them didn't even get a description, like Tohru--all I got there was a name and a line of dialogue, I think.  I didn't feel close to any of the characters, I didn't have a deep understanding of any of the characters, and some of them I didn't even know what they looked like.  I feel like in a debut character match, that is important.

Also, I say this a lot but more description.  If you want to immerse the reader you need more details.  Sounds, smells, sensations.  Get closer to the characters, closer to the scene, focus on one or two characters in particular, and readers will be more invested and be able to feel/see what's happening better.  Omniscent view is hard to write in because its hard to step back like that but also have the reader invested and know your characters, I don't like it or use it, and I always suggest people not use it either.

It's a bit long but I wanted to give you a more in depth and detailed review as requested :).  Hope you like it and it's helpful.

Thanks, man!

IDK, though; Jackie gave and took some pretty tough shots in the show, and Viper was even more agile than he was. Jade, Uncle, and Paco likely won't be fighting much, if at all.

Also, this isn't just a straight fight. The main objective of both teams is to get/guard the sword, and both the Foot and the Shadowkhan being there will cause even more chaos. Yeah, Leo has the gauntlet to safely wield it, but who's to say that, say, one of the Foot, Shadowkhan, or even Viper or Jackie wouldn't snatch the gauntlet in all the confusion?

Thank you for the in-depth critique. :)

Yeah, I notice that when I know the material, I get into a habit of wanting every character to shine, especially when it's a team vs. team match-up. Since the match was already getting pretty long between the story, fight scene, and dialogue, I was somewhat counting on the readers to already be at least somewhat familiar with the characters.  But yeah, I could've been a little more descriptive overall. Both shows have mostly ensemble casts, so whichever characters got the focus tended to depend on the episode. Also, Tohru is generally a man of few words, and El Toro himself doesn't speak a lot either unless the subject deals with wrestling and/or his culture.

I'll help out a little more on the characters here. You're probably familiar enough with the Turtles, but as for the J-Team, on the occasions its members get together (which was like once a season, IIRC), it was just Jackie, Tohru (sumo guy), El Toro (luchador), and Viper (thief and martial artist) that did most of the combat, action, etc. Uncle's too old for fighting full-time and instead focuses on making spells against evil magic. Jade's is 12 years old (albeit clever and skilled), so she'd only step in if her friends get in trouble. Paco is Jade's age, but he mainly stays out of the way.

Enjoy!

Taking a page from me and posting videos with your fights huh? Can’t say I blame ya, I’m pretty awesome.

Loved your write up btw, it’s legit one of your best and that’s saying something! As someone who grew up watching TMNT 2003 and Jackie Chan Adventures you nailed all the characters personalities, energy and interactions perfectly and the whole match felt like the sweetest love letter to both franchises. Well done, I bow to your writing abilities.

Much as it kills me to side against Jackie, I just feel like the other members of the J-Team don’t have the feats or skills to keep up with the Turtles. Jackie himself should be skilled enough to handle any of the Turtles one on one, but I think the rest of his team falls first and leaves him out numbered by the TMNT boys. Voting for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I only realized this while writing the match, but this year's the 20th anniversary of this TMNT show. Wow, it came out the same year as the first Teen Titans 'toon. And man, I'm getting old.:D

I'd go for the Turtles here. J team could pull it off in a long campaign type deal like you have here but it's the Turtles' game to loose.

Thanks for the comment, leroy!

Thanks, man! One regret I have about this is that I couldn't fit in a "I'm sorry, I'll bring it back later, thank you!" from Jackie. :D

Remember, though, that the main goal is to get the Sword of Tengu and protect it. Also, the Foot and the shadow-morphing Shadowkhan will be interfering to claim the sword on their individual behalves. Viper's thieving skills could come in handy for her team here.

Not gonna look at my ratings on this 'til the Challenge results come in, but I'm definitely glad the match score was relatively close. :D
