Dinosaurs are very different predators than zombies are.  I'm sure Officer Grimes is not stupid and will quickly realize he needs to avoid the wildlife.

Said wildlife is always roaming about looking for a meal, though.

First, that's a big if. 24 hours isn't all that long to survive, and there aren't that many raptors or dangerous dinos of Isla Sorna. The truths is that, in every Jurassic Park movie, people far less equipped, armed, and good at survival than Rick manage to survive the dinosaurs. With difficult, sure, but Rick is a hardened survivalist who knows how to stay low and stay safe. He only has to live for 24 hours. He's got this easily

Hey that was my argument from the last tournament lol. But yeah I agree if Eric could survive Isla Sorna for 8 weeks then Rick should be just fine for 24 hours.
