Does Pegasus count as an animal? Having aerial superiority would be a massive advantage, plus Pegasus is pretty mean at times. It's essentially Pegasus vs Maximus as far as I can remember, if they're limited to just animals they befriended in their movies

It which can mobilize the most impressive army. Maximus was seen to command the other horses used by the guards. He was also made an officer of the guard. So he would be able to bring a small armies worth of horses with him.

Rapunzel also gained a handful of other animal friends over the course of the Tangled series and had Pascal from the beginning.

I'm don't recall if Megara had any animal associates outside of Pegasus.

I think both these characters bring some pretty impressive animal friends to this match.

Meg's flying horse is brave, loyal and versatile.

Rapunzel brings a land bound but courageous horse and a chameleon which is a useful ally.

Can either character summon more animals to their side?  Maybe.  Just going by what's on the table, though, I really like both.

Tough one.

It's not a maybe though Rapunzel has other animal associates that have come to her aid.

I'm unable to find any screenshots searching through Google Images which prove this.

That is to say, while it is reasonable to assume it, I don't know that it is canonical.

Look up Tangled "Day of The Animals". To see multiple animals working together to rescue Rapunzel.

It's also not hard to find pictures of Maximus and Pascal together.

You can also look up Fidella, Ruddiger, Hamuel. Who can also be seen with Maximus and each other.

I would add pics, but at the moment my phone won't let me.

That checks out. I guess Rapunzel has my vote.

I dont remember Meg having very many feats when it came to animals. Didn't the Pegasus have issues with her? It's been a hot second since I've watched Hercules so I don't remember

With the argument above regarding Rapunzel, I'm leaning more toward her.
