Dante, noted Star Wars nerd, romancing a Star Trek character. He will not be able to help himself from constantly comparing her adventures to Star Wars. Probably not a successful courtship but could they be on an entertaining adventure together sure.

Dante and Melvin would both turn off Uhura for sure, as Dante is as stated a Star Wars nerd, and his nagging on how Star Wars is better than Star Trek, would be bound to irritate Uhura pretty quickly, even more so than it would most people outside of any of these fictional universes, but Dante does get a plus in his corner for not having some of the same tendencies Udall has, more on that in a second.

Melvin, pre-transformation, or at the beginning of his movie, was a grouchy, selfish, prude, who was also racist, something that would for sure have turned off Uhura in  many ways, not the least of which because of the kind of character Uhura is as a person, so at the beginning of the movie he wouldn't stand a chance either, as he, like Dante also hadn't grown up enough yet to have a relationship with Uhura.

Post transformation, Dante is a bit more mature and is attempting to get his life back together, even telling Randal, that he is going to try and work things out with his girlfriend Veronica and make something more out of life than what he had at the beginning of his movie, post transformation, Udall is a bit more open, a bit more self-less, and less of a prude, probably less of a bigot to people as well, he is quite a bit more responsible and more mature than his was at the start, but he still is not without some of the negative character traits that he possessed at the start of his movie.

In both, they grow up over the course of their movies, and in both the characters are transformed into better people and better adults as a result, so post-transformation, each one might stand a better chance at an actual relationship with Uhura, whereas before, neither one would be all that good at having one.

Entertainment wise however, Dante's life does lend itself to more off the wall antics than Udall's tends to, but Udall does have a certain charm, underneath his quirks, that does make you root for him, in spite of his problems, so that in and of itself could lead to entertaining circumstances, so in short, I guess this one is a bit of a toss up as well.
