As we've said before, while both could probably do it just fine, Sonic can definitely do it faster. Nothing in G&G would be a real challenge that Sonic couldn't just run past-through, and even the bosses would be moving in slow motion compared to him

Sonic games also have that mechanic unless enemies are hit from a certain angle, right? And if we're using canonical versions of the characters (with feats and such) then wouldn't Sonic be more than strong enough to punch through the ghosts and ghouls anyway

Ah but he's fast, too fast to rack up points from the various ghosts and ghouls that are constantly popping up to hinder you.
