Heh, the Boatmobile wasn't really a good draft pick. Considering how Spongebob and co. scale on the surface world, it would barely be bigger than your average toy car.

The Thudertank should probably stomp here. Its much bigger size should allow it to go faster than the Boatmobile, and it could likely power through some of the hazards on Rainbow Road.

That's somewhat inconsistent though, isn't it? Like they're usually tiny, but MM and BB are real humans and they're the size of the fish, and in Sponge out of Water, they're the size of humans on the surface. Plus, Pearl is a whale, and she's only about 3 times the size of Spongebob, height-wise

It's not just speed though, Rainbow Road is a notorious curvy road so I'm gonna need some proof that a TANK can handle turns well. If he goes off the road, he'll be wasting time consistently.

It's been through worse. I think it managed to jump over a cliff and landed fine.

You're joking, right? Floating through space endlessly is in no way worse than jumping off a cliff, and doing it consistently would bring you behind the Boatmobile constantly.

And like the Boatmobile would be any better?

Heh, wasn't aware the characters' scaling was inconsistent on the surface.

In that case, the race would hinge largely on how the Boatmobile scales on the surface world. If it scales up to house Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy as they were on the surface in Sponge Out of Water, it could likely very well outpace the ThunderTank on the track. Otherwise it's simply gonna be too small to keep up.
