Classic battle between Tommy's zords. I'm not sure if this has happened before, but I would think the Dragonzord would edge out a one-on-one fight.

Doesn't the Tigerzord go into a composite Zord and only then can it be considered on the level of the Dragonzord? I think Dragonzord should have this easily.

Well the White Tigerzord and Dragonzord did fight before.

Wait a minute: the Season 2 Zords were supposed to be a step up in power from the Season 1 Zords. Therefore, the Season 2 Zords should logically be more powerful.

IIRC, the only reason the Dragonzord was able to beat the White Tigerzord was because Lord Zedd gave the Dragonzord some kind of power boost.

While I like the Dragonzord better this was my understanding as well. The zords were supposed to be upgraded.

Yeah I concur in that notion, I seem to remember Tommy's 2nd transformation being at least somewhat more significant in strength than his first, although I can't find where Zordon stated how strong it was exactly.

The above would logically apply to his Zord as well, as the Rangers' power does seem to be connected to the Zords symbiotically.
