The exact age of Peter Pan is unknown.  The book describes Peter Pan as still having all his baby teeth.

While it is unknowable what the author intended from that description for age, empirically the character could be no older than seven to still have all his baby teeth.

The Disney movie declines to give an age.

I've also read the Pinocchio novel.  The character is a 360 degrees opposite Peter Pan.  Where Peter Pan is the eternal playing child who is gifted with powers, Pinocchio is a character that suffers.  He suffers through the hard lessons needed for the Blue Fairy to make him a real boy and then - once he is - he works his ass off every day to get dying Gepetto his daily food.  It's a tough story about a tough life.

I doubt Jiminy Cricket would advise Pinocchio to spend time frivolously coloring.

None of that means that Pinocchio can't color, of course. In fact, he'd probably enjoy the break.  I'd just say Peter Pan probably does more of it.

Fox is right. Pinocchio doesn't really take part in normal children activities, which is sad, cause he so desperately desires to be a child. As it stands though, he shouldn't be able to do most children activities on par with others who play around often. Gotta go with Peter Pan for this one.
