Don't think the specific type of song that Michigan J. Frog uses is seeked out in disco nightclubs, but I could be wrong. Been a while since I've gone to a nightclub. The Hex Girls are edgier, grittier and the exactly kind of thing people would want to listen to at nightclubs. Gotta go with them.

I really got to give it to the Hex girls. Sure a singing frog could be impressive, but I remember the original cartoon with Michigan J Frog, he would never perform when it mattered. 

Also the Hex girl's always give a good show.

Mr. Frog is super cool and an amusing character... but (and it is a big but) he has a massive weakness in that he stops performing when it counts most.  It's built into his shtick and part of what makes him an amusing character.  However, it will not be amusing to the entertainment types that inhabit Studio 54.

If we assume Mr. Frog doesn't have this weakness (and I personally will always assume he does when I vote, since it is an integral part of the character) then I think I still like the Hex Girls here. They just feel more hip and with-it.

Aside from Michigan's aforementioned shtick, another weakness he has going here might be his size. I'm thinking it would have to be hard to get noticed in a place as busy as a disco nightclub when you're a tiny frog.
