The fact that this is a very enclosed space makes it almost impossible for Nightcrawler to do the drag someone up into the air and throw them from a great height thing that he's done once in a blue moon, so that is taken out of the equation. Other than that, I feel like Azrael's body armor will take most of Nightcrawler's attacks head on while Nightcrawler definitely would not handle Azrael's attacks as well.

Whose to say Nightcrawler doesn't teleport some structural support away and cause a cave in on Azrael?

This is definitely a fight where Nightcrawler would need to get creative with the terrain. He can kite Azrael into a trap.

There we go, perfect. Mind telling me exactly how many times Nightcrawler has done this? I can assure you, he doesn't fight like this in character especially from the start.

I’m not sure who to pick yet but I love this matchup.

Hmm ... Azrael has more fighting skill and weaponry than Nightcrawler, as well as a definite ruthless side when the Order of St. Dumas is controlling him. The Order's also allowed Jean-Paul to resist physical pain and other ailments (i.e., he once fought off Scarecrow's fear gas via the Order). 

Kurt, however, is definitely more agile, though, and has plenty of creative ways to use his teleporting. For example, one of his favored tactics is to rapid 'port an opponent to disorient him/her/it and leave vulnerable or even make them pass out. He could try this on Azrael, but whether or not the Order could help Jean-Paul shrug off those disorienting effects is another matter.
