Eh, Lammy is shy usually yes, but with her guitar, she actually becomes much braver and more confident in her personality.

Not saying she matches Rammy, her darker counterpart in that, but rather that she is able to overcome her inherent personality flaws when she is able to play her guitar for some reason.

That being said, Lammy isn't out for the count here anyway, as she is a pretty decent guitarist in her own right, and might be able to perform well enough to convince the audience in Salzburg, long enough for the von Trapp's to escape Austria.

Or, at her own expense, Lammy might probably be captured by the Nazis, for being a humanoid lamb able to speak, move on two feet and play a guitar, or for simply having an electric guitar, which probably wasn't around in 1938 Austria at the time, which is a win, I guess as her capture would allow the family a chance to escape in the aftermath, by using a literal "sacrificial lamb" here as a distraction.
