  1. Heh, not entirely sure how the vote was close on this one.
  2. It's more like Chaos has a dislike of Fate, otherwise they wouldn't regularly play cards together. But anyways, Chaos could also consider the possibility that Fate would determine that Arthur would win because of Arthur's rep of being determined and beating the odds. He may also think that Arthur always being underestimated is boring and set up situations in the maze where Arthur's actions are accounted for at every turn. Heh, good luck for Trevor even getting to use that sword on him. Chaos is likely a little beyond what he's used to.
  3. Gah, I already voted, my man. That's what I get for posting on this so late in the round. 😅
  4. Wish I had watched or read Starship Troopers, my man. While the Arachnids are likely intelligent in their own right, it seems that they'd only use their smarts to try to catch humans. The Orcs are known for taking other things, though, so that may give the edge on a ... uh ... shopping day.
  5. I'm thinking Fox's only avenue here is trying to hack the Rev-9. The Rev-9 may possibly hack into Fox's tech before that happens, though, and Fox would have no choice but to just fight.
  6. I may have misinterpreted some of your last post here, @Peypeypeypey. My bad. 😅 I blame it on the lack of sleep and extra tasks I've been doing lately IRL. Yeah, Hot Rod/Rodimus was originally created for the then-future setting of 2005 for the OG Transformers film, so Hot Rod's alt mode is literally a sportscar the writers made up for that time. Rodimus's alt mode kinda looks like a futuristic Winnebago-type vehicle, though.
  7. Hmmm, ... Belsnickel's appeal seems limited to German regions of the globe, while Dracula is generally recognized worldwide. The head vampire just might have the edge here.
  8. Another good set-up, Johnny. Interesting battle of the Scarlet(t)s. As for the match, Scarlett's good, but if Scarlett's gauntlet of traps and weapons and her mechs can give more superpowered people like Yuffie trouble, I'm not liking the Joe's odds here.
  9. Gah, and here I am having not seen the Kung Fu Panda films or this new Castlevania show. This feels like this would be a tough fight, but I don't think Po could keep the forest from burning down from the collateral damage they'd both cause going all out.
  10. This would definitely make an interesting chess match. Data's indeed a brilliant mind, but it feels like Amazo just may have the edge in that regard. No telling how much intellect he's acquired along with all those powers by his last JLU appearance. Agreed. This is just about the semi the Draft needed (especially since I or pey get to pick up the pieces afterward 😛 ).
  11. Yeah, I'm thinking Holt's skill in multiple martial arts gives him the edge here in MMA.
  12. Still not sure on this one, especially since as mentioned, I'm not familiar with The Office. From a glance, though, Chocula looks to have more pitching experience and charisma, as well as a motif that better fits Silent Hill.
  13. Ah, almost missed out on this one. Pretty good set-up and debut for Galatea, Venom, if a bit short. You have Power Girl and Galatea pretty much in-character, though, especially with 'Tea's trademark of using heat vision to kill. As for the match, DC Comics' flying bricks are generally more powerful than their DCAU counterparts, so Galatea is really biting off more than she can chew here.
  14. General consensus has always been that Cap is physically superior to Batman, and that has generally been proven out. - For example, Batman has never been able to run at 60 mph, like Cap. - Bats has never been thrown off a speeding train, then caught up to on foot like Cap has. Given that Cap's generally considered physically superior, then Bats can't quite be considered peak human, right? Besides, you still have yet to show how agile Jason himself is, though the point may be moot this late into the round.
  15. Well, much like Christine in another round, since Herbie won't really hurt Blurr, this would be a draw at best.
  16. For a second, I was a little concerned few people were checking the match-ups in this round. Here's to hoping we get more than the 4-8 votes per that we had in the last round.
  17. Well, in a straight race Herbie may have a better chance, though I don't see him pulling out supersonic speeds like Blurr can. In a demolition-derby type setting? Not sure I'm liking Herbie's odds.
  18. Heh, I wouldn't bet on it. Cap not only has peak human strength, but also peak human speed and agility. Not even Batman can lay claim to those abilities.
  19. I actually pointed that out at the end of my last post. But yeah, Cap is no slouch at getting out of tough spots: - Cap can get his Indiana Jones on. - He can also get out of adapting Skrull bonds. - He can even pull a Batman on soldiers targeting him. Also, he can get around pretty well -- and without all the grappling hooks, glider wings, etc. that the Bat family uses.
  20. You guys do remember that the Polar Express gets out of situations in logically impossible ways all of the time, right? Like drifting on ice and the floating golden ticket? Not to mention that, being at Santa's workshop, the train and crew will be getting an assist from Santa and his elves. I've posted videos pointing all of this out.
  21. Another good chapter to this Capcom vs. SNK arc, Johnny. Apparently, this one's the battle of the intrepid photographers. BTW, Is Ran related to Dan Hibiki, by any chance? As for the match, while Ran may have more a little more skill and her camera attacks do more damage, it looks like Frank has more actual fighting experience. That his experience and his use of melee weapons probably give him the edge, but the fighting might stop before things get too serious.
  22. Okay, it's past time to dive into this: Actually, Cassandra was holding back in the fight and was trying to protect him. This was acknowledged further a few pages later. Deathstroke was ... pretty hindered in that fight. To add to it, he had also fought through a dozen Bizarro clones prior to that. Neither is exactly a ringing endorsement for Red Hood's full skill. Meanwhile, Cap has not only proven to be stronger and faster than an unjuiced Jason, but the SSS in his system also grants him a healing factor and virtually limitless stamina. Case in point: he's fought Wolverine a couple of times, and Logan's said to know every fighting style. The only real advantage Wolvie's had almost each time was his superior healing. Cap isn't afraid to kill, either. He did fight in WW II, after all. He's killed various Nazis, Hydra members and other villains in both the war and the modern day. Besides, Deadman Wonderland isn't just about fighting. There are also various obstacle courses to go through, and Steve's superior physiology should give him the edge.
  23. I like how both semis are essentially rematches of Draft Finals past. Anyways, I'll have to research this one a bit more. Brainiac 5's smarter, but I don't know if he's more creative.
  24. Given that Orcs pillage as part of their way of life, it feels like they have the edge here. The Arachnids may be too focused on going after prey.
  25. Heh, not sure Scrooge can rehab a fundamental force of nature.
