Rumble 20733 Martians (War of the Worlds 2005) vs. Harvester Aliens (Independence Day)

Both sets of aliens attack earth within hours of one another. The harvesters have come to destroy the human race and obtain earths abundant resources. On the other hand the martians have come to harvest humans for their blood trying to replenish from their dying home planet. Both species are unwelcome by the other realizing the abundance of humans will only last so long and both groups need them to secure their species. The fight is on to dwindle down the human population. Which side will succeed?

How in the world has no one thought to do this matchup before? I’m stunned.

But I’m thinking the Martians win this. The humans were eventually able to overcome the Harvesters technology all by themselves whereas the humans in WotW were completely helpless against the Martians and would have been wiped off the map if not for the Martians being anti-vaxxers.

I know right. Very much a high similarity in design of the aliens. And also just a good equal fight.
