The Kingpin is looking for an enforcer for his mundane operations. 

Any thug can sqeeze a trigger but he want's somebody who can throw hands like a champ.

So he's holding a fight tournament to find his man.

Winner gets the job.

These two, of course, are the first two up.

Kahn killed a Kickboxing champ in front of his little brother. Tong Po crippled a Kickboxing champ in front of his little brother.

Personally I'd go for ulgy Billy Blanks (Kahn). He was faster as far as choreography went.
