Peypeypeypey
Ippo is a boxer. I'm not sure how well he would do on an obstacle course. He's nimble and strong but if he has to do like parkour, he's gonna be in trouble I imagine
Twogunkid
Ippo is the determination type. He will power through the pain. Â I love baseball, but the players aren't built for pain taking.
Macklemore
I think that Toa Tokuchi would have a better chance of surviving than Ippo Makunouchi. Here are some of the reasons why: - Toa Tokuchi is more cunning and adaptable than Ippo Makunouchi. He can use his intelligence and his gambling skills to outsmart his opponents and manipulate the odds in his favor. He can also use his pitching ability to throw objects with precision and force, which could be useful in some situations. - Toa Tokuchi is more aware and cautious than Ippo Makunouchi. He can observe his surroundings and his enemies and anticipate their moves. He can also avoid unnecessary risks and fights and focus on his goals. He can also use his "mind-reading" ability to gain information and insight from others. - Toa Tokuchi is more independent and ruthless than Ippo Makunouchi. He can act on his own and does not rely on anyone else. He can also make cold and calculated decisions. Ippo Makunouchi, on the other hand, would have a harder time surviving in Deadman Wonderland. Here are some of the reasons why: - Ippo Makunouchi is more naive and trusting than Toa Tokuchi. He can be easily deceived and betrayed by others. He can also be influenced by his emotions and morals and lose his focus. He can also be too generous and compassionate and help others at his own expense. - Ippo Makunouchi is more limited and predictable than Toa Tokuchi. He can only use his boxing skills and his signature punches, which could be ineffective or counterproductive in some situations. He can also be easily read and countered by his enemies. He can also be overwhelmed by the unfamiliar and hostile environment and lose his confidence and motivation. - Ippo Makunouchi is more dependent and loyal than Toa Tokuchi. He can not act on his own and needs the support and guidance of his friends and coach.

Psychoanalysis and throwing a baseball are fine skills, but psychoanalysis is not helpful when the whole scenario is trap based. The physical endurance of a man braced to take punch after punch and keep on trucking is more useful. They both are operating solo, so a good nature is irrelevant here, and while a well thrown fastball can kill someone, many people hit by pitch walk to first base. A well thrown punch to the skull is oftentimes far more deadly. Brute strength to smash a door, jump a hurdle, swim through a body of water are way more useful here. That doesn't even get into reaction time. Ippo is a master of keeping up with an opponent's moves and reacting. This includes setting a long term plan that on the surface appears suicidal, but Ippo is well aware of his physical limits and now how to play to his own strengths. When a trap goes off, that reaction speed could save his life, and his endurance and tenacity will keep him going even if he fails to avoid it. His wiki states, and I quote, "Tokuchi also decides what pitch he will throw right when he throws the pitch, not before the pitch is thrown. This allows him to see the batters thoughts more accurately" Those are split second decisions for his brain to register and for him to go through with. The average motion of a pitch in baseball is ~1.5 seconds. Olympic Boxers can throw up to 7 good punches in a second. Even if we reduce that speed to a 3rd, Ippo is still reacting closer and faster. Further, the batter 60 ft 6 inches away gives a lot away from his stance and Toa can read that which is less impressive than reacting to someone right on top of you. DSkillz
This is possibly the Drafts' first all anime/manga match-up, even down to the terrain.  I probably need to do a bit more research, but from a glance it looks like cunning would be the route for escape.
Twogunkid
I feel you all are underrating Ippo's raw athleticism and the edge that gives him.
