This seems like a McDonald's thing much more than a George Volcano thing. It's easy to dismiss Ronald as a creepy weirdo, but he was an advertising juggernaut for a long time, so he does have some appeal, and he's already a kid's character. He could just say the kid got frying oil thrown on their face and that's why they look that way

I like George here.  He seems like the kind of mascot who could sell a doll that appears like a shipwrecked child lost and starving on an island.

 

Selling people dolls of unhappy children doesn't seem on-brand for Ronald.

I think Ronald has this. Just make the “Little Miss No Name” doll apart of his happy meals and sales will go through the roof.
