I don't think Grimm actively go after animals anyways. This should be an easy win for Perry.

Grimm won’t be the only threat to him. With his appearance and intelligence some people might mistake him for a new breed of Grimm or a Faunus, which could be trouble if Perry ended up in a less tolerant part of Remnant.

That's only true if he's acting like Agent P. If he just acts like a platypus, then neither the Grimm nor the people will even take notice of him and he'll be totally fine

I just realized that they might not have platypuses on Remnant. And if he’s just acting like a mindless animal some less developed cultures might decide to eat him, while places like Atlas or Mistral would try to experiment on him to find out what kind of animal he is.

That's a lot of "ifs." The overwhelming likelihood is that he ends up somewhere is the wild and is ignored by any Grimm

Considering how Remnant works, wouldn't Perry need to unlock his aura if he is to try and not only survive, but also fight back? Sure he's got the occasional gadget and common sense, but with how everyone has an aura and with that a semblance, is it possible someone like Perry can unlock one? If not, how would he survive encounters with stuff like Grimm and White Fang if he for some reason came across them?

Again, if he just pretends to be a Platypus, no one is going to pay him any mind. Grimm don't hunt animals, and most people wouldn't think twice about it. 24 hours is nothing to keep up his disguise, and given there's every chance he gets dropped in a fairly safe area anyway, he would be totally fine
