Isn’t Emma a married woman? I mean that’s the main reason why she and John Steed never hooked up in the original show. Emma was too loyal to her husband, Peter Peel, and John was too much of a gentleman to try to get with a married women.

Hmm... Emma isn't new on the flirtation game... but I think she's mature enough not to fall for Bond's charms and she definitely won't forgive Bond for intentionally taking her out of stasis. I say that she plays it off for a time until it becomes unavoidable to ignore.

This match-up gets even better.  

I just remembered yesterday that the late Dame Diana Rigg, who played the original Peel (as well as an old lady in Game of Thrones), actually was a Bond Girl in On Your's Majesty's Secret Service, and in fact was the only woman Bond married. This probably shouldn't have been enough to earn James the win here, though.
