As Apocalypse got closer, he could see numerous beings in an all out battle against immense power.

"ENOUGH!"

 

The voice thundered across the battlefield, momentarily stunning everyone there.

 

"You squabble like children, not knowing what it is you are protesting against, it ends. Now"

 

Suddenly everyone could feel the energy gathered, like standing underneath an electrical generator, and with a final earth shattering kaboom, everything was over...

 

 

 

 

For a moment, everybody blinks, faint half-forgotten memories of what might have been passing through their mind, before vanishing like smoke in the wind.

 

A faint sense of relief fills them, as they go about their usual routines, in what some would call, The Perfect World.

And before those who aspired to stand against the tyranny of the Sentry, stood the very same... the Golden Guardian.

 

An amicable expression thereupon, he regarded the heroes who endeavored to defeat him in a crusade for the world's right to freedom without tyranny.

 

"You all... will remember what transpired though it may no longer be the case. Only you select few remember... the rest remain unaware."

 

A glance aside him, to the perfect world behind him before he returned to the lot - "I remain with you all...", then a sneer formed - "As if nothing ever happened."

 

A visage of the Void's face appeared behind him, sneering and cackling, before the Golden Guardian disappeared from sight, along with the visage fading into the light...

 

Then all else was reset, everyone were back whence they came... but they'd remember everything... including the prior instance, finished with resounding laughter...
