You know, the only reasoning I need is when Namor punched Hulk so hard, sending him back countless miles(which also caused massive earthquakes and tsunamis as a result of the force of the punch) and upon landing, Hulk reverted to Banner as he was KO'd. Namor was fine after recieving a similar blow from Hulk.

 

lolwut? Namor was KTFO'd until the "life-giving" properties of the water brought him back to consciousness.
