The Losers of CBUB

In a pocket dimension somewhere in the multiverse, exists the land of CBUB, where fictional beings are the dominant species. The rulers of this land are knowns as 'The Winners' (which are made up of all the characters on the Top Contenders section), and like to host fights and contests for the other beings of CBUB. Some of these beings are more powerful than others, and poor matchups have lead to some fighters getting massive losing streaks.

 

This is because the Winners are getting old, and need someone new on their team so they can up their game. Because more characters are coming to CBUB all the time, the population of CBUB is also rising rapidly, and could lead to the complete destruction of CBUB. So, the Winners have decided to do something crazy... Host a huge tournament for all the losers of CBUB. The winner will become a member of the Winners and bring peace to the land of CBUB. All the other losers will be exiled to limbo, and will never be allowed to set foot on CBUB soil again.

 

At the Arena of Khazan, the Winners began broadcasting a message about the beginning of this new tournament to the entire population of CBUB...

 

Professor X: People of CBUB, we are aware of the rapid population growth and how it could mean the end for CBUB, which is why we are hosting a tournament here in the Arena of Khazan. All of the losers of CBUB will gather here and fight. The winner will become a member of the Winners and will help us bring peace to this land.

 

Nick Fury: Yes, and the losers will be exiled to limbo. Anyone who doesn't show up will also be exiled. Do we make ourselves clear? Good. Come tomorrow at noon.

 

And so, all the losers made their way to the Arena of Khazan. The first person there was none other than Hakan from the Street Fighter series.

 

Professor X: And it appears we have our first combatant. Who are you again?

 

Hakan: I am Hakan! And I'm ready for action!

 

Hakan begins pouring oil all over his body and gets ready to fight... Who will his opponent be?

OK, everyone, here are the rules:

 

1. Post your character's name, a picture and what series they're from.

 

2. Only use characters from A. Lost every battle they've appeared in, or B. Been on the site for a while but have never been used.

 

3. Have fun!

Here we go again.

 

Instead of trying to throw up RP's as fast as you can, take your time and think about what you are doing.

 

Thoroughly work everything out, make sure the stat system is balanced(and preferably easy to understand), make sure everything is properly explained.

 

Don't expect to get an RP finished in one or two days.

 

Write everything down in a notepad txt document, or a MS Word document. When you think you're done, save the document and leave it for a bit, get some sleep, and look at it again the next day.

 

Chances are that you will have had some more ideas during the evening/day/night, and you can hammer out some details.

 

Once you have done that 2-3 times(at least), and you think that you're Finally done, have someone help you and read over what you have done, to point out any mistakes, give suggestions, etc.

 

Sleep on it one more time, and if you are satisfied with your work at this point, post it on the forum and start Sign-ups.

 

 

In summary: Don't post half-arsed rush jobs, put some work in it and post it when it's actually finished.

No, you should just edit the OP. Add a story, some background information, etc.

 

What is this tournament? Why has it started? Why would the various characters be interested in joining it?

Also a helpful tip is a time limited on the battles. Like two weeks or something. Then after times up if there isn't a winner you judge who you think is the winner. And on your matches have a group of three judge or ask someone like Sirmethos to judge your battles in it.
