Match 9899 Dr. Facilier and Jafar and Hades vs. Maleficent and Ursula and Madam Mim

Chernabog is looking for some help. His last attempt of trying to cover the world in darkness resulted in the heroes magically sealing him in another dimension. He finds out that the only way he can return to the real world is by implanting his consciousness and powers onto another being. Chernabog wants a host with some magic of it's own, so he uses his powers to make a crack in the seal large enough to draw 6 magical beings into his prison. Chernabog creates a volcanic island surrounded by water with his powers and divides the 6 into two teams. Chernabog decrees that the team that completely destroys the other will inherit his power (neglecting to tell the villains that whoever wins will have the honor of being little more than Chernabog's puppet). OK:Facilier: Full power.Jafar: Sorcerer. Hades: Full power. VS.Maleficent: Full power. Ursula: Full power. Mim: Full power. Ursula starts in the water. All other competitors start on the beach. Let the battle begin!

Eh, not terrible for your fourth set-up, broadwaybeyonder, but given all the colorful characters involved, I was kind of expecting more.

 

As for the match, I doubt Chernabog could actually control the bulk of these powerful villains, but for the sake of the match I'll go with it. Truthfully, while The Princess and the Frog is the only film referenced here that I haven't seen much of, I get the feeling Facilier is the weak link here. In that vein, I'm thinking the guys are outmatched powerwise, especially since Jafar isn't a genie (and, by full power Ursula, I'm guessing you mean she has King Triton's trident).

 

Also, while the guys are outmatched, Hades won't be killed, since he's an immortal Greek god, but he can likely still be KO'd.

This is one of the best three on three matches I seen in an long time. On one hand you have a Voodoo doctor, Greek God and Sorcerer turned into an evil genie. As far as I know on the other side we have witches which may have strong magic but I can't them taking down Hades or Jafar.

Except that, per the set-up, Jafar is just a sorcerer. And though Hades is a god, I've never seen him do anything that indicates he's more powerful than any of the "ladies".

Team 2 has nothing that can take down the greek god of the underworld. Team one wins.

Call me a chauvinist but i'm going with team one, mostly because Hades is on their team.

Huh, 1,000 views on a match in the Archives in only just over 2 weeks? That might be mostly bots.  

Funny thing for me now is, I've since completely seen every film these characters were in except The Princess and the Frog.
