I don't think Crane can kill a ghost

Heh. While Scarecrow can be plenty scary, he's not really a horror icon. 

I don't see him able to do anything to harm an actual ghost, either.

To look at it another way, the ghost is already dead. Does Crane win by default?

Really bad draw for Crane here. As others have already said Scarecrow has no real way to kill Christmas Past. Now you could argue that since Past is already dead that could be an insta win for Crane but not so fast, by that logic it’s an insta loss for Scarecrow cause the scenario says that the Horror character has to be the one to kill the Christmas one, specifically in Santa’s workshop. If the Christmas character is already dead then the Horror character is screwed.
