Michael's redemptive arc definitely makes him a great boss and a leader that the world would get behind. We've already had presidents and prime ministers who are known for occasionally saying the wrong thing, and Michael may well stumble occasionally, but throughout the whole series he has shown that his heart is in the right place and he will fight all the way for his people.

I mean, he still makes horrific mistakes that would realistically get him canned throughout the entire series, even after his supposed redemption arc. He's not smart or savvy, and he does have heart, but there are also dozens of people who would speak out against his run.

He still probably wins because of the whole Moon Man thing for Mac Tonight. You just can't shake that association in this matchup unfortunately

True, he's not the brightest but he is a good person and has been shown to stand up for what he believes. I think in this day and age, heart counts for a lot.
